Subject: State of Georgia Vs. Denver Fenton Allen, as acted by Rick & Morty

Not sure how many people have seen it so far, but I think this is absolutely hilarious. It's a 100% real court transcript as acted out by Rick and Morty. It's worth reiterating that this is a literal, word-for-word, unedited reading of an official court transcript from Rome, Georgia in june 2016.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7vN_PEmeKb0
A copy of the transcript:

You know, I've only been to court once for jury duty, and I recall there were microphones everywhere. I'd imagine that microphones are pretty prolific in courtrooms nowadays, which makes me wonder if there's an actual audio recording of that somewhere.
Despite the ridiculousness of the proceedings, it's actually a very serious case. The guy is alleged to have beaten a guy to death while in prison.

It's a great clip and it gets me excited for the next season (in a year? Year and a half? Maybe more?), but you, uh, you probably want a NSFW warning on that one.
Denver Fenton Allen got pretty explicit.

I listened to maybe the first minute. Is the whole thing a transcript between a judge and a mentally ill defendant?

I'll admit it's a bit long, and the first part is a bit dry, but essentially yes. It does devolve to the judge and the defendant basically yelling ridiculous and offensive things at each other - at one point, the judge encourages the defendant to start jacking off, and the defendant tosses in a whole bunch of 'suck my dicks'.
I'd encourage you to hang in there, it escalates pretty quickly, and hilariously. Automatically Appended Next Post: As for being mentally ill.......I'm honestly not so sure. He was already in prison, and got caught murdering another inmate, so it's not like he's going to get out anytime soon, and what are they going to do, put him in prison again?
Maybe he felt he had nothing to lose, and wanted to get a rise out of the judge, if only for the trolly joy of it or perhaps for prison cred. If that was his intent, I'd say he succeeded.
