I am surprised reading the comments people don't even know the Grey Knight fluff why GK teleport instead of using Drop Pods.

Are people really wanting Drop Pods because they want to win with plastic toy soldiers or do people want DP because they think it's fluffy?

Unless the fluff has changed (could have I stopped trying to do GK after they lost their third edition codex) there is a reason why Grey Knights don't use drop pods. (Novel aside, not sure why they used it, but I think that would be wrong, but then again I could be wrong so please prove me wrong.)

So to my knowledge Grey Knights NEVER use Drop Pods. Does it really need to be explained? Let's see how many people really know the fluff of the GK.

The Grey Knights noval starts with a strike team of Grey Knights in a Drop Pod decending on a daemon infested world. Can get more fluffy than that.

From a crunch stand point, Deep Strike is unreliable without a Drop Pod. If GK had better teleport rules, there woukd be no need for Drop Pods.

Fluff is never a bar for game rules. GW just changes the fluff if it want's to bring in new models or changes to the rules.
People take the fluff far, far too seriously.

A few years back you could have had the 'Why don't SWs teleport" thread. A quick retcon of the fluff later, and now they can.

There was never a decent fluff reason for why SW don't have teleports though. The last I checked they didn't like or trust the teleports (which is reasonable) but they'd still use it.

They also shunned fliers, preferring to "fight with their feet on the ground," that is, until they got their own flier.

That actually could've been justified had it been Blood Claws flying the fliers, since we know they tend to be rebellious, trying to prove themselves in the dumbest way possible sorts.

As well as others, when Space Marines are always hiding and cowering instead of fighting in the thick of things, doing their nails waiting only at the end to come out of hiding and say "Look at me how tuff I am"

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

Because marines aren't tough when subjected to Eldar and Tau weapons.
