Going to a campaign weekend in a few weeks and it allows you to change your list between rounds. Now this is a non-competitive event so I'm just looking to try different playstyles, so I have this interesting armoured company list which I'm looking for some feedback on as it consists of 1 super heavy and 5 tanks.
HQ
150 – Commmand Squad: 2 Meltaguns, Mounted in Chimera with Heavy Bolter, Heavy Stubber and Multi-laser.

TROOPS
155 – Veteran Squad: 3 Grenade Launchers, Autocannon, Sgt with bolt pistol. Mounted in Chimera with Heavy Bolter, Heavy Stubber and Multi-laser.

96 – Veteran Squad: 3 Grenade Launchers, Autocannon, Sgt with Boltgun, Camo cloaks and snare mines.

HEAVY SUPPORT
185 – Leman Russ Exterminator: Heavy Bolter and Plasma Cannon sponsons

170 - Leman Russ Demolisher: Heavy Bolter

150 – Leman Russ Battle Tank: Heavy Bolter

LORD OF WAR
590 – Hellhammer: Lascannon and Heavy Bolter sponsons.

Total: 1497

Your thoughts, how do you think it would fair?

That looks pretty good for a more casual tournament. I'd probably cut the Heavy Stubber and the Camo Cloaks to upgrade one unit of Veterans to have Meltaguns - For an armor-heavy list, you can't deal with heavy armor or Knights very well!

I don't have the extra Meltaguns, however I could swap the stubbers out to upgrade the rear autocannon into a Lascannon.

I'll bang my toy drum once again and say the exterminator isn't worth it. I'm guessing you're not taking a punisher instead because you don't have the parts?Did you consider the Eradicator instead? There will be times when you want discount ignores cover with AOE.

Pcannon sponsons i'm all in favor; although it may be worth scrapping the grenade launchers on the second vet squad for a lascannon for a little extra anti-armour/Centurion.

I disagree, I think the Exterminator is well worth it. It's reasonably accurate and versatile, plus it can be used as anti-air in a pinch. I would take Heavy Bolters over Plasma Cannons for sponsons though.

Kinda unnecessary as the Hellhammer has a massive blast template that ignores cover with a better AP. I have got a Vulture Gunship with twin linked punisher cannons I could field but it's 155pts so one of the other tanks would have to go?

Whoops! Sorry my bad it's a Plasma Russ not the autocannon variant I always get the two mixed up.

The Vulture is absolutely worth it, I would drop the Demolisher in a heartbeat for it. I would personally also drop the LRBT and take another Exterminator. I would then give both exterminators a hull lascannon and multimelta sponsons. Then you have 2 truly generalist tanks, which can engage all targets successfully. I've never regretted the Exterminator with that load out, it always has something to shoot at.

edit: I see you mean Executioner instead of Exterminator. I would take Exterminators. You have a wayyyyy better source of AP2 (Hellhammer) already. The Executioner will just melt itself down or be negated by cover.

It's only just now occurred to me, but if you're fielding vultures is it with the ABG?

In any case +1 on the vulture band wagon, i'm on my third and in 2 years now i've yet to lose one of them, or lose because anything they could kill was still a factor.

Change leman or two for squads in chimera to control objectives.

Okay let me go over what I have available to field in this list with the Hellhammer....

My available Veteran weaponry includes; Grenade Launchers, 2 Metlaguns, 1 Lascannon or 3 Autocannons.
2 Chimeras,
1 Vendetta or Vulture,
1 Hellhound or Wyvern,
2 Leman Russ Battle Tanks no sponsons (1 of which can be made into a Demolisher, both can be scrapped for 1 to become a Manticore (be conufusing to have same hulls different stats)
1 Plasma Russ with Plasma Sponsons.
Hades Breaching Drill (With squad)

Okay gonna ditch the all tank theme, that going to be it's own list. Instead this list is all about supporting the Hellhammer, so out of the following units what should I take with 2 Veteran Squads in Chimeras.

Command Squad with Lascannon,
Tank Commander (Vanquisher or Battle Tanks),
Primaris Psyker
Or Yarrick.

Elites
Vindicare,
9 Ratlings,
Hades Breaching Squad with 2 Meltaguns,

Wyvern (though can be made into a Hellhound),
