I am left wondering why this guy wasn't shot, when others, say a guy lying prone with his hand up, get shot instead. Perhaps there wasn't a toy truck nearby to provoke the police into using deadly action.

The problem is that the different approach comes across as kill the black guy but not the white guy. If there wasn't a history of such issues it probably wouldn't be, ya know, an issue...but there is and it is.

I think the whole "zombie" thing is just a legacy of Jeb's tenure as governor down in the Sunshine State. After listening to him during the primaries, I'm pretty sure he was ground zero for the brain-dead epidemic.

"Bath Salts" don't worry me too much, they make for headline grabbing stories, but the rebirth of H scares the hell out of me. I've been around long enough to remember the rise and fall of smack, but it was always something in the ghettos or on the extreme fringe. Now, with it popping up in affluent neighborhoods and taking lives, it just boggles my mind.
