Why not? It seems fairly inevitable. Paying using my contactless card is far more convenient than having to use chip and pin, let alone fumbling around in my pocket for change.
How would you pay strippers?
By any other method you are going to be anyway? Card, cell phone, maybe in future chip you carry or maybe your fingerprint.
Only time I use cash these days is if somebody insists paying by cash. Usually I pay some gas with such money.

In other news nutcase (not all) vegetarians are now campaigning to ban *all* clothes washing products as they kill bed bugs and all washing products are to be banned as it kills lice, nits and other small animals that like to live on our bodies. Farming of all foods is to be banned because tractor blades and wheels may harm mice, worms and woodlice. However they are happy to use wooden furniture despite the fact the felling of a single tree effectively kills 10,000's to millions of animals that live on it (and lets not get started on where some mahogany and so on comes from)
It's ridiculous really where does it end. I accept that people wish to choose to not eat meat for a variety of reasons and that in principle reduces the consumption of animals. However tallow is a by-product of the meat industry. Animals aren't raised just to produce it. The tallow will still be produced and instead of being used usefully will be landfilled. Instead an alternative is proposed to be sourced that likely requires more resources and more land and more environmental damage than using this by-product will ever do.
It's a silly campaign by people that have no idea of the ramifications.

"Because while the truncheon may be used in lieu of conversation, words will always retain their power. Words offer the means to meaning, and for those who will listen, the enunciation of truth. And the truth is, there is something terribly wrong with this country, isn't there? Cruelty and injustice, intolerance and oppression. And where once you had the freedom to object, to think and speak as you saw fit, you now have censors and systems of surveillance coercing your conformity and soliciting your submission. How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror. " - V

And if you get about 40 kg of tallow-worthy fat from the average cow, how many cows would you need to make every single £5 note in circulation?
