Hello everyone,

I've been away from 40k for about 2 years now and looking to dump my old Tau models and start working on the new suits. My goal for this army would be to have fun in a semi-competitive environment. I don't like tailoring my lists so I tried to include a variety of loadouts among my suits.

I had run a similar list in the past with some success - generally keeping the broadsides static, firewarriors hang back until later turns to grab objectives while the suits are bouncing around causing trouble. The commander has a lot of points tied up, but some opponents waste a turn of 2 trying to kill him before realizing he should just be ignored.

187 commander: 2x plasma rifle, shield generator, stimulant injector, iridium armour, onager gauntlet, neuroweb jammer

205 crisis(3) + 4x marker drone: 1x shas'vre /w TL missile pod, drone controller, 2x shas'ui /w TL missile pod, target lock, bonded
194 crisis(3) + 2x gun drone: 1x shas'ui /w 2x fusion blaster, target lock, 2x shas'ui /w 2x plasma rifle, advanced targeting system, bonded (commander goes here for the precision shot synergy)
208 crisis(3) + 2x gun drone: 1x shas'vre /w 2x fusion blaster, target lock, 2x shas'ui /w TL plasma rifle, missile pod, bonded

73 7x firewarriors: shas'ui, pulse rifles

190 2x broadside + 4x missile drone: 1x shas'vre /w HYMP, SMS, 1x shas'ui /w HYMP, SMS, bonded

1481 (with the extra points I'd probably grab 2 more firewarriors or something)

Any feedback is welcome! Also I should mention, there reason for the lack of vehicles/riptide sized units is that I try to make my armies fit into a single KR Multicase as I travel on the subway.

You really need to take advantage of MSS and C&CN.

Promote one suit to Vre and give him those Sig Systems, the MSS and C&CN. Ditch the MPs, and go nearly all PRs, with one or two dual FB suits. Toss the Marker Drones, too, as the synergy doesn't quite jive with your other killy unit, the b-sides.

Redistribute to 5, 5 and perhaps 12? Look at Morale Check mechanics andtry to make sure you're at 9 or 12 FWs, otherwise minimum squads are the better default.

Make each crew 9 dudes or just 5.
