I recently bought the Aeronautica book, the one published for 6th edition I think.

My question is now that I look through it, I notice most of the Superheavy stuff still uses Structure Points. Where do I go about finding how to convert that to HP for games? Specifically the Marauder Bomber on Page 17, as I can use that with the Sisters army I'm cobbling together.

I couldn't really think of another more appropriate forum, sorry.

If I remember someone mentioned that each Structure Point is equal to about 3 Hull Points?

I could be wrong.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

Correct, 1 SP becomes 3 HP.

However, I should point out that IA:Aeronautica is obsolete and no longer has the current rules for most (if not all) of the units in it. For example, the Marauder has new rules in IA:Apocalypse (the newest one published in 7th edition) and they are not the same as the old IA:Aeronautica rules. Unfortunately you probably wasted your money buying that book.

The only difference between the Aeronautica Marauder and the Apocalypse Marauder is (significantly) that it has 4 bombs instead of 12, and each bomb is resolved as an apoc barrage (8) one shot weapon.

The Marauder Destroyer in turn gets 3 of them.

It also gets AV 11 instead of AV 10.

It's always been 11-11-10?

No. Originally (way back in 3rd edition or so) it was AV 10/10/10 like most/all flyers. At some point the Destroyer variant got AV 11, but the regular Marauder continued to have AV 10. The most recent update gives both versions AV 11/11/10.

Did Not Know That.

I'm assuming 3rd edition or so refers to the original Imperial Armour, because IA:Aeronautica has it as 11-11-10 for both variants.

If the OP is still reading, is there anything else you bought the book for? The Vulture is still valid and the Thunderbolt and Lightning have been issued free profile sheets on forgeworld's website.

Just the superheavy imperium flyers that the Sisters can access.

I think it's the two Marauders and that's it.
