I recently purchased a million archer and footmen sprues from my local hobby store. They said NLP Copyright 2003 on the sprues. I found another post on Planet Figure discussing this in 2007. Can anyone give any sort of information on what I assume is an out of business miniature company? I assume this because the website link to their webpage is invalid and the server cannot connect.

Nope. The footmen and archers come in one piece, the spearman in two. There are 4 footmen, archers, and spearman on each Sprue, 12 miniatures on each Sprue in total. I got 21 sprues of them for $5. That's 252 miniatures for five bucks.

Mate, if you are talking about the pics in your gallery labelled NLP then they are GW Warriors of Minas Tirith and have nothing to do with Northern Light Production.

Definitely LotR Warriors of Minas Tirith (men, not Elves), the NLP probably stands for New Line Productions, who made the movies.

Get a mounded Boromir and some knights of Del Amroth, possibly Gandalf and you have a very decent Gondorim force.

Of course you wont want GW prices. This version of Boromir, as a captain of Gondor rater than in the Fellowship is highly recommended by those who play West in LOTR. Reputed to be the best special character for his price in the game. Though this was pre-Hobbit, so some things may have changed.
