Considering that Ironwolves vehicles can move 12" and units still disembark is it possible to charge first turn from a landraider with 12" move + 6" disembark +2d6 charge?

Am I missing something here?

Got milk?

All I can say about painting is that VMC tastes much better than VMA... especially black...

Generally, the only thing prohibiting first-turn charges is an inability to actually get in range. If you're actually able to move 12", disembark and still charge, then yes, it looks like this would permit first-turn charges (that are easy to avoid, if an opponent knows you can do that.)

First turn charges something you're wanting to explore? Should try out a Wulfen Murderpack and keep them near a pack of TWC.

On a roll of a 6 they get a double move. 24" move and then a re-rollable charge. Lul?

That's way less reliable though.

Yeah but it's hilarious when it goes off.

Also, putting a deathstar into a Land Raider may sound awesome but AV14 isn't what it use to be with the Hull Point mechanic along with grav, gauss and a slew of other things just don't care about it. Feelsbadman when your AV14 Land Raider gets dumpstered by a 10 man squad of Necron Warriors that get a few 6's off.

10-12 wounds worth of TWC with 3++ and Veil of Time/Invis/Endurance can go a long way.

Or BarkBarkStar, if you're going down that rabbit-hole, but... well, let's not. Nobody has enough rabbits to keep them fed.

5 packs means you double move on anything but a 1.

That's at least 1500 points though. Not a very good 1500 points either.

For what it's worth I use all three methods of getting across the board on the first turn.

*Wolf Guard in a Land Raider as part of the Iron Wolves formation.
*Deathpack.
*Wulfen Murderpack boosts.

The Murderpack is the least reliable because it relies on luck and the dice hate me so I usually get Reckless Ferocity, because of that I've been investing in Power Mauls, s8 on the charge at initiative 4 kinda makes concussive irrelevant on most opponents.
The Wolf Guard need turn one or that Land Raider gets punk'd before it moves.
The Deathpack gets the charge every single game.

I don't break the rules but I'll bend them as far as they'll go.

Uhhhh...I would LOVE to know where you came to the conclusion of 5 packs enabling a double move on a d6 roll of a 2+?

Boo, forgot it was +1 for each after the first. So 3+ to get to a 7.

Too many formations called packs.
Murderpack is the one pm is thinking of, Deathpack is the Start Collecting Space Wolves formation of Grey Hunters TWC and a Wolf Lord - For Glory! For Russ! The Wolf Lord and Grey Hunters or TWC from the Deathpack within 12' of the Wolf Lord can choose to run and charge or re-roll to hit rolls of 1 in the shooting phase.

I don't break the rules but I'll bend them as far as they'll go.

They need to start changing the names of things.

Jesus christ do any of you even own any of the rule books?

Nearly everything here that has been typed out is wrong.

I feel very sorry for the people you guys play against...

Well I have the electronic version of the SW codex but I kinda feel lost already hence the questions.

Regarding Eldar and Grey Knights (the other two armies I own) I have every book.

I know the rules I use. I do not know the rules of similarly named formations that nobody in my area uses when I'm around. Shoot me.
