I recently obtained $200 CAD. What good deals are there on the GW web store and physical stores? I want to buy Betrayal at Calth, but are there any other good deals around the store?

Betrayal at Faulty is a good deal but if you don't buy direct, you could definitely get better savings

He is located in Canada, and if is like me, it's virtually impossible to find deals. Ebay and online stores charge less, sure, but the massive shipping cost counters that.

Google it, trust me. I was there on Saturday and picked up the brand new Deathwatch Veterans for $35 instead of $43. They have loads of GW stuff, they just can't list it on their website. Email them for the full list and prices.

I recommend Meeplemart too, but it might be a bit far from where you live. They do ship domestically, especially to where you live (both of you. If you live anywhere in canada, especially in Ontario, they'll ship it to you). If you live anywhere near the GTA you can just drive to them, or ride the GO-Train. Meeple also occasionally has sales; I got Imperial Knight Renegade when they had their anniversary sale; 35% discount! On top of the discount of the set itself! (Basically I bought a normal Knight Errant for a 10% discount, and got everything else FREE).

Another, not as well known location is Silver Snails. The problem is that it's basically located close to Meeplemart, has a far smaller selection, and the staff there knows jack about Warhammer (one dude insisted that the Hive Tyrant without wings was 8 inches tall. This was after I told him I owned the Tyrant.) Silver Snails occasionally has a better discount than Meeple, but again their random and lacking stock is an issue. Even then, the discount isn't that huge (something like 2% tacked on top of the 20% discount).

Either way with the above discounts, Calth comes to about 162 bucks (after taxes). Which leaves you with enough to buy a Rhino or something.

There is a vendor website I found and bought the BaC set for $118. I also got another Conemptor for 19.99 CAD. Crazy, they just arrived today.

Considering the criminal prices GW has put out for the separate pieces, yes it's an excellent deal. In the United States it runs around $125 with a discount.

-Three full tactical squads (with enough pieces to actually make a Devestator squad, and you're a few arms from an assault squad)
-Five terminators (with plenty of options)
-Two characters
-A dreadnought (he sucks, but he's a dreadnought - it's an awful model).

With GW's recent separate releases that's $325 MSRP without even adding in the game components.

$125 vs. $325 (say $260 if you found these at discount)

Yes, it's a very good deal. Even without the ridiculous inflated MSRP of the separate kits it's still a very fair price for what you get.

Elbows is technically more on topic than the rest of us, who have more or less devolved into "where to get the bestest deal period".

I didn't make my point, which was...basically "save up and get another Betrayal at Calth box" because the MSRP --- even with discount is still twice what you'll pay for a box. Even at 20-30% discount (common in the US) the cost is double the BAC box.

For other stuff I'd probably go Forge World - and I'm quite sure this is why the Horus Heresy plastics are way more expensive than comparable 40K kits.
