Hey guys!

It seems the dice have come up snake-eyes and Warseer has been gifted the reward of spawndom

So after a bit of a snoop around the other boards and reading a few reviews, I've packed my bags and set up camp here instead. I hope it's as rewarding as the last five years have been elsewhere and I look forward to sharing opinions, project ideas, feedback and photos of my stuff with you all!

I've been a GW fan since the early 90's but I think the current era is heralding a new golden age (based on the incredible models, waves of self-contained games, attention given to smaller factions that never previously got enough love, rebooted magasine, improvements in cost vs value, and customer-friendly behaviour of GW over the past 12 months). I'm far more into modelling than gaming - but I would play if I could find non-competitive groups in north Sydney!

Since the early 1990s my favourite factions have been:
Eldar
Chaos Space Marines
Necromunda
Lizardmen
Elves

Now I just need to set up my plogs....

Gav

Welcome to DakkaDakka!

I also migrated here when Warseer came down in January. It's a pity that we lost all those project logs Warseer hosted, but that aside, I've come to prefer Dakka. I find that people are more mature and reasonable here.

PS: I realise my account is a bit older than that, but I didn't really become an active user of Dakka until a year ago.

Thanks guys, looking forward to discovering what Dakka has to offer

Luckily I kept most of my finished plog photos on Photobucket, so I should be able to at least get a fair portion of it back online. Just a shame about all the fluff I wrote :(

Welcome over! I'm sorry to hear you're a pointy ear sympathiser, but more sorry to hear you lost your work. :(

There's a small Warseer topic in P&M, you may find some folk you recognise: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/0/698724.page

Hi,

Welcome to Dakka

IceAngel wrote:I must say Knightley, I am very envious of your squiggle ability. I mean, if squiggles were a tactical squad, you'd be the sergeant. If squiggles were an HQ, you'd be the special character. If squiggles were a way of life, you'd be Doctor Phil...

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.
