Very neat, clean, awesome paint job! Do you use can primer or airbrush?

Thanks! I prime and pre-shade with airbrush, then I come back in for eeeverything else with regular brush.

What are you using as primer? I seem to struggle with Vallejo Surface Primer because I tend to lose detail, particularly on hammer handles similar to those on your Wulfen, which is slightly embarrassing to admit considering how thin Vallejo is to begin with. Do you prime parts separately or the entire assembled model at once?

My most recent struggle with this:

There are known sculpting issues on some weapons in which the detail is actually not sculpted as deep all around, likely due to the casting process. I ended up losing some of the criss-cross definition on the hammer myself and I was forced to manually paint in every single line to make it look uniform as a result.

I don't think its so much the primer as opposed to the model. That said I do thin my primers.

Then that's a true testament to your line skill. It appeared as if each and every detail in that handle was accounted for. Superb work!!
