Honestly it seems very boring to me. Maybe I'm just so used to Warmachine streams where you can actually see what's going on but watching it on their Facebook feed I just see a guy moving a big monster up and rolling a die and that's it I don't even see his opponents Force to know what's going on. I still think it's a good thing they are finally doing this though

for someone just getting into AoS, I think it's fantastic! Watched about an hour of it, or atleast had it on in the background while I surf around. Looks like a lot of fun - Very grateful that they are taking the time to put this on!

The real funny thing here is I think that Warhammer would lend itself a lot better to stream games if they really pushed like narrative games and themed battles and stuff like that it would be pretty cool to watch again where they're telling a story while playing. But I don't think it lends itself to watch some guys move stuff and roll dice while you listen to commentary. War machine works with that because it's very Tactical so the guys on commentary are basically calling the plays

Yeah it was boring to me as well. Was getting a headache so had to turn it off. Not sure if it's I am not use to a bunch of British talking in their accents or audio quality wasn't the greatest. Also the top down view only was making for a boring view.
Also what is with the people cheating and not even rolling the dice and just dropping the dice? Roll dice, roll dice roll dice but no minis are moving? WTF? No explanations or anything going on. I guess you have to know the game and not very newbie friendly at all with no explanations going on at all.

Now that you mention it, it might be the top down view. Because looking at it on my bigger screen, looks like his opponent is in combat with him, so that explains it, but it's kinda hard to tell what is going on or who is doing what. Again might just be that I'm so used to Warmachine streams, where it's easier to tell who is moving and such.

British accents giving you headaches? okay- haha!
AoS has 4 pages of rules - it's very easy to read that before tuning and being able to follow what is going on.
The guys give really good commentary and go over what the units do if you stick around but yes, if you haven't read any of the rules and just tune in on the fly then yes, it probably isn't going to make much sense nor will it be all that interesting. Maybe they could add a link to the rules so people can read them before watching!

That was an intense game! Can't believe it all came down to the final dice roll. They're saying they're working on getting some side cams going on during the games so we won't have the overhead view exclusively.

really cool that the first game was Kevin Chin playing with his Slayers...
he is one of my favorite current GW artists, and Slayers have always been my favorite thing in the Warhammer world, ever since that first Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay rulebook cover...
it was nice to see the luck of the dice swing both ways, and then come back to Kev at the very end...
it definitely kept you wondering right down to the last roll...
now it's time for some Chaos Dwarf action...
beards everywhere today
cheers

Easy for you to say. :p
AoS has 4 pages of rules - it's very easy to read that before tuning and being able to follow what is going on.
4 pages of rules you say? Funny how a lot of that rolling was not in that 4 pages.
The guys give really good commentary and go over what the units do if you stick around but yes, if you haven't read any of the rules and just tune in on the fly then yes, it probably isn't going to make much sense nor will it be all that interesting. Maybe they could add a link to the rules so people can read them before watching!
Yeah, I didn't catch it from the beginning. Thing is, Age of Sigmar is so much more than just 4 rules. It has the same or more depth and complexity than 40K but more organized. A lot more was going on than the 4 pages, as I said above. Would be nice to say, we are doing this because of the war scroll. Then again maybe they did explain it in the beginning so shouldn't need to repeat themselves, so I guess not their fault. Just when I go into the stream, it was roll roll roll, no minis moving or being removed, oh there is Duncan, roll roll roll. Or should I say, drop dice drop dice drop dice, not rolling really going on, just dice giggling but not really being randomized and a cup should have been used because that is just cheating. Way to many hits and not many misses going on, or at least when I was watching the feed.

I really liked it, it's GREAT to see GW embracing modernity and getting in touch with the community/fans again. I hope they ramp it up by returning Games Day again!! I would absolutely love to go back to a proper Warhammer convention, especially since I was just a young kid back in the day walking the convention and having to carefully ration whatever I had with me - this time I'll be able to buy whatever I feels likes!!!!!

First, second, and third were destruction, death and Chaos. That bodes pretty well for the grand tournament next year. It is great to see GW doing this kind of thing. I hope to see lots more of this in the future.
Edit. The top ten were 2 death, 2 destruction, 3 chaos and 3 order.
