Yep, which is exactly the same as Marneus Calgar using fists taken from a chaos champion too. Neither of them are demon weapons though, of course.
Personally I love how weird the Space Wolves are. Anyone that wants to run a basic space marine chapter can run their light grey space marines using Codex Spade Marines, model them with axes and beards if you prefer. It's win win.
I reckon the Wolves leaders can keep a secret. Especially if it means the unforgiven chapters will support them when the Imperium starts asking questions about the Wulfen.

The Axe of Morkai was a Daemon Weapon though, it was a Daemon Axe taken from a champion of chaos that held a Greater Daemon. Unless that was changed in fluff.
Zewrath wrote:... Which reminds me, why exactly are the Space Wolves tolerated after showing hostility towards the inquisition, killing grey knights and having a chapter master that wields a daemonic weapon? I mean, wtf.
This is nothing compared to Grey Knights killing Sisters of Battle so they can apply their blood to their armour?
Or game wise Space Marines especially Grey Knights summoning deamons on the battlefield? Now that is WTF?!
As slowed as that piece of fluff was, along with Draigo doing dirty stuff with Mortarions heart, it still makes sense... Sorta.. To my knowledge every single human that encounters Grey Knights gets executed, especially if they've been in the near vicinity of daemons so those sisters were bound to get killed one way or another.
Also, I don't think GK have acces to anything but santic daemonology or am I remembering it wrong?

Even better, the DA needed the help of some plot armoured furry marine instead of doing it themselves.
Sorry for the bitterness and I get that there's a lot of love for the Space Furries but... you wouldn't get a piece of fiction like that in reverse, where the SW needed the help of someone else to deal with a problem they have in-house as it were. Especially if said problem wsa an integra; part of the Furries...
On a lighter note that art of DA ships blowing the heck out of that Tzeentch fleet is pretty awesome.

Weird, where is that from? I only have the 5th and newer codex.
Though that would make Logan an even bigger badass since he is obviously in control lol...
I'm just waiting for the Relictors to swoop in with all their chaos artifacts, save the day, and relish in the fact they are destroying chaos with their own power. The Space Wolves had some nice goodies jacked from them, they know the brunt of how that went.
Wont happen though. Be prepared for mass unifying of marine chapters to one super bland one when this is all over. But hey if Papa Smurf returns that must mean Calgar dies, rejoice!

I'm sorry, what did Calgar do wrong compared to what is probably your favorite special snowflake?

I don't have a favorite character. But the idea is that there can only be one poster boy for the Ultra. Calgar still has a resin model. If an end times scenario happens and big Papa returns from stasis, this could mean a change just as it could mean a shift in the in all special characters from the inevitable aftermath. That is, should GW actually want to change and rustle the 40k setting.

If you don't like the Calgar model, scratch build one. Two power Fists and combi-bolter bitz on them.

Except that is exactly what happened. The Wolves would have lost already without the help of the Grey Knights, Ironhands, and even the Dark Angels. I have ready many situations in BL novels involving other chapters that made me go 'hmmm really? that happened" Heck didn't Kharn just kill a titan.

In which book do the space wolves enter the rock and help them defeat the changeling? is that in war zone fenris part 1? or are there novels as well?
I thought Kharn had killed a titan before. Not sure he did it with such ease though. In Traitors hate it's almost as though titans were just another obstacle in his way to next skull.

It was in the eight part e-book series called Legacy of Russ written by Robbie MacNiven. It wasn't really the space wolves. It was Ragnar, Stern, and a inquisitor.

I think someone did the math and calculated that Kharn could kill an average of 3,5 knight titans if he charged them one after another and was more likely to die from the catastrophic explosion result than actually dying from a knight in CC, so in the light of that information that wouldn't be so far fetched.

I'm just finding it ironic they are using big-ass icicles to destroy Fenris. Maybe they are made from the same magic ice as those frost claw spike things?

So what actually happened in the first fenris campaign book when the Dark Angel fleet fired? Did they fire on the space wolves fleet? On a planet? Was there any actual effect or did all those nova cannons, nuclear torpedoes, and lance batteries just *poof* disappear with a successful 2+ plot armor save?

They were just obstacles. Titans, knights etc all just minor inconveniences for Khârn

Angron killed a titan in Betrayer. I don't recall Kharn killing one.

Nah Sisters recruit everywhere.

I vaguely remember something like him scaling the titan and jumping into the cockpit to kill the pilot. Could just as likely have been angron though.
