What was the name of the sword that stabbed Horus in the shoulder in book 2? The one he gives to Fulgrim? I've been listening to the audiobooks and if I don't read something I have the damndest time recalling what it was. Google searches have been no help.
Also, what becomes of the sword? They haven't mentioned it almost at all in Galaxy in Flames.

Anathame.
I believe it ends up (or bits of it, at least) in the hands of Erebus and his cronies.

Bits? What happens to it? Automatically Appended Next Post:
Nevermind, looked it up. From the Wiki:
"Later, Erebus would strike eight shards from the blade of the Anathame just before the Battle of Calth to create the Chaotic daggers known as the Athame that were used by the Word Bearers Host of Chaos Space Marines that assaulted that world during the Horus Heresy."

Several somethings.
Oll is in Know No Fear, and also appears in Mark Of Calth - one of the art plates shows him in the hardback (he basically looks like pre-samuel jackson Nick Fury).
Oll is - one assumes - Ollianus Pious; who has historically been mentioned in passing in GW lore as the patron saint of the Imperial Guard.
In the final duel, Horus is distracted from killing the Emperor by someone running at him to attack - which takes virtually no time to kill in an extremely cruel manner, but buys the Emperor long enough to get a second wind and convinces the Emperor that Horus is as corrupt as he feared he was.
Said individual has, in various retellings of the heresy, been an adeptus custodes and a blood angels terminator, but the original story had it be an imperial army trooper called Ollianus.
The Perpetuals threads have several things they're building towards - what it takes to become one (several perpetuals are 'made' in the stories), what it takes to kill one (the ongoing process of trying to kill Vulkan), and what they're prepared to fight for.
Oll is pretty clearly trying to get to Terra with the Anathame fragment. If I had to guess, I'd assume this is either going to be what the Emperor kills Horus with, or else it's going to be what Sanguinius uses to open a weakness in Horus' armour with.

I like that idea actually, having Oll show up towards the end to grant the emperor the anthame, perhaps being slain by Horus in the process. and it's that death which shows to the emperor that yeah this is a life or death situation, kill or be killed.

Precisely so. Horus (pre moloch) and Horus (post moloch) are two fundamentally different prospects.

After his trip to the Warp, he's practically a Daemon Prince in all but name. His power could probably snuff out a Perpetual for good, and that's what he's going to do with poor Oll... maybe. Who knows?

Then again if they have the blade being used to kill Horus that's pretty big retconning. So far it's been Emperor blowing Horus out of existance for good with his psychic powers. Not kill. Emperor did not KILL Horus. He wiped him out from existance for good. If he had just killed there would have been danger of chaos gods bringing him back. Ergo he burned him out for good.

I never said the blade would be used to Kill Horus, simply that I suspect it'll play a role. perhaps Oli will attempt to use it to slay Horus but it'll go badly.

Certainly swollen with the influence of Chaos.
Maybe Oll will create the chink in Horus' armour and it wasn't Sanguinius at all. Meaning all he did was flap about and die.
Wouldn't that just cause a load of BA players to rage-quit.

I doubt they'll change that - it's too much a key thing. What you might well see is Oll providing Sanguinius with a weapon (the Athame) capable of doing that.
