Hi guys,
I finished my first Imperial Knight some days ago. This knight (named Elysium) is now ready to support my 144th Europa Regiment in battle. I ordered some forge world stuff to pimp him. Furthermore I created a more cinematic base that looks great in the vitrine, as well on the battlefield. Building the knight took one week and around one and a half to paint it. To archive the dirty weathered look (that is not oversaturated) i used enamel colors (streaking grime/ rust streaks) which i sprayed with my airbrush. You should check out the Knight painting tutorial form Dr. Faust’s Painting clinic. Do you like it?

Normally I just stalk the painting forum, but I had to stop in and comment about this one. I really like what you did. This is some top notch stuff with you knight. I usually don't like air brush work either but again you made it work. Huge fan of the base too. I can see the story you are trying to bring to tell!

Wow - really great paint and weathering on this. The base is also fantastic. Great photography too.

That blue really works with the weathering and yet still looks vibrant

I really like this because it reminds me of an epic 40k knight and it is so vibrant and cheery yet, grim at the same time.

I really like the base detailing and how stockily posed the knight is.

Very nice paint job, I really like the details on the base too, especially the injured Guardsman. Hmm, I wonder what would have happened if the Knight had stepped on that box of munitions? That Guardsman is probably breathing a sigh of relief right now!

Yes indeed, I am currently working on an Astra Militarum Army. Its the 144th Europa Regiment from the Planet - well you guess it - Europa. When most of my artillery and tanks are done, i will post the mighty force of the 144th Regiment. Btw i posted a while ago, pictures of my selfbuild WW1 Male battle tank Stormlord conversion --> http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/697435.page
