Sounds like a sketchy doctor who is going to end up with a dead patient.
Trying to determine how to connect spinal tissues is admirable, but currently, the area is extremely limited. This experiment is ridiculous and should probably get this surgeon jailed if he attempts it.

Not really. There's already plenty of pseudo-zombie parasites, such as Toxoplasma Gondii. Add in some genetic or chemical engineering, and 28 Days Later zombies aren't that far off. But yeah, the dead rising back to life is a stretch.

Honestly , I had nightmares about something like a zombie. These were lively dead people . They were like an empty shell .... sometimes retained some habits Some might become aggressive. And they do not perceived as something that we should shoot . And what is with what will have to accept.
Only when I woke up , I realized that it can be called a "zombie"

We've had topics about this before. I hadn't heard anything for a while so I assumed they might have called it off. The head transplant is an interesting idea, I don't think it's something that medical science is ready for yet... perhaps if there were a few more breakthroughs in areas like stem-cell research, cybernetics, and organ rejection. I don't think we're going to get anything remotely like zombies. At best, we'll get a man who is paralysed from the neck down, with a very short life expectancy (probably just days).

Even if he lived, the extreme imusupresent drugs needed would shorten your life for sure,

they prevent rejection of body, but make you more vunrable to illness etc. etc.
miss one, and you can suffer a critical organ rejection.

Actually, they wouldnt prevent rejection of the body. Theyd prevent the rejection of his head. After all, most of the organism is the donors body. Sure, it mostly amounts to the same thing, but the low grade rejection stuff would probably be worse... Dunno. Hard to tell when its never been done, really.
Also, @ OP: Of course we want zombies. But surgical zombies are waaaay to hard to manufacture. Id still go with a parasitic fungus or something. <.<

even if this works, and thats a huge if, your never going to not see a doctor on a very regular basis.
mantaining the anti rejection drugs, checking everything linking up right still.
this is risking enormous complications.
