Over the last few weeks I've narrowed my choice of 40k race down to necrons now my only problem is color scheme after bouncing between the existing colors I found a model painter here on Dakka and came up with three possible paint jobs.i m planning on basing in either a jungle or martian like red sand. I just want to get some feed back on them

First up is a scheme inspired by the art from the Seraphon Battletome. An important note is that on the model only the upper skull would be white and the bottom jaw red

Second was really just thrown together because I like gold on black and white

Third is the one I'm really leaning towards right now.I think all the colors work well and like the first only the top half of the he'd will be red.

Overall I like the 3rd best, but am not sure about the red head. They all seem a little busy to me.

IMHO, YMMV, etc.

I think 3 is probably the way to go, but I like the concept behind 2. Maybe doing more in the black and only having a few spots here or there on the white would be a bit less busy?

I wouldn't color the joints differently than the armor plates. I'd let a wash do the work in those recesses. I do like the Red Head, but not sold on the green body and yellow gun bits. Red head, red gun?

The third looks like it could really work in numbers, yeah. Not too many contrasts and clutter.
