I know thee posts comeup every so often, but I'm looking for something specific, to match my bases and much of my terrain. Does anyone know of a good quality - mousepad material - game mat in a dark brown/scorched brown kind of finish? There are plenty of light brown, green, urban, lava, tundra/snow mats out there, but I've not been able to find something in a dark brown predominant scheme.

Something that would overall match these:

or these:

you get the idea.

It's something I've been casually looking out for, but now I'd really like to just find one and be done with it. No biggie if it lacks the rocks/debris or lacks the grassy areas. An overall similar dark earth or even muddy looking earth is all I'm really in need of.

I think this may be the closest in their range at the moment: http://www.pworkwargames.com/en/mousepad/185-wargame-mat-terrain-deadland-pwork-rubber-mousepad.html

edit.

The whole mat:

There's also these two, but I think the primary colour may diverge too much from your own bases:

If you want more grass instead of brown, I suggest: http://www.deepcutstudio.com/product/wargames-terrain-mat-muddy-field/

Thanks guys. I'm after an overall browner mat, so the PWork one might do the trick. I'm not especially fond of the silly RoB-like skulls in the pattern, but I can likely cover that up with terrain most of the time as long as i's not too repeated.

The Deep Cut one might work as well, actually. It's not as good a match, but has a nice earthy tone to it.

Looks great, but I'm not willing to pay 43 euro to ship a single mat. Not your fault, but regardless...

Was looking for a dark brown mat myself. Ended up getting the Urbanmatz Badlands mat. Great feel and look to it.

A ton of armies and a terrain habit...

Thanks Benjamin. Unfortunately, most local or semi-local places aren't very competitive as far as pricing goes, which is why Aussies order so much from overseas and direct from manufacturers. Mighty Ape's price on each mat (without shipping from them) is actually the same as ordering a single 6x4 directly from you guys including paying the shipping. Even worse when you consider they're located in NZ and don't pay any local sales tax for Aussie customers. Given that sad situation, if it came to it I would much, much rather order directly from you guys.

You've got some really great looking mats there, too.

The urbanmatz offering does look good. I've been in the conundrum that I've got "mousepad terrain" and it's blending in too much with my greenish "mousepad mats". The terrain stands out nicely and just the right amount on that mat, I think

Yeah. you have 2-3 that pique my interest for ground. On top of that, the star map (3x6) on your website seems to have lots of small "creases" in the printing - at least it looks that way on your website. Do you have other pics of it?

it was probably only sample. we need to put better pictures there. each mat that is sent to the customer is checked before sending and we send only ones in perfect condition
