I was just curious if there were any such thing that would be able to grant a really silly unit skyfire that doesn't usually get it.

I'm running a "Priest Pod" with my Inquisition allies, which is a terrible unit of 9 priests with Condemnor Boltguns and an Inquisitior with a Psyocculum. I want to be able to Psyshock flyers as well as ground targets. Is there a way to do this?

I don't care if it's wargear, a pyschic power, emplacements, etc.

The only thing I know of is a Skyfire Nexus mysterious objective.

Luckily for you, the Ad Mech's Arkhan's Divinator lets you PICK what a Mysterious Objective is, if the holder discovers it. So use that!

Arkhans Divinator allows you to reroll the mysterious objective not pick it. I think you are thinking of the warlord trait in the cult book. But your warlords unit must identify it.

Right you are! I apologize for the misinformation.

Warlord Trait #4 in Cult Mech lets you choose, Arkhan's Divinator lets you reroll it.

To add to this list,

There's the Primaris Rhino, or whatever it's called, in the Space Marine Command Vehicles that has a Servo-skull network that lets a unit within 12" snap shot at full BS.

I discovered this last weekend.

It's a warhammer world exclusive. £75 for a command raider and rhino.

I know this is a bit of a necro, but it's my thread anyways.

What about on the Chaos Side of things?

I'm trying to find a way, now, to give my blood slaughterers skyfire to yank all the Magnuses out of the sky. Or at least a way to ground him easily?

The masque has been suggested - since she makes him only move 3 inches, he has to switch to gliding or ground, I think.

I think traktor kannons frm Orks are considered the best skyfire weapon in the game, so they cna deal with flying Magnus.

regarding skyfire, you can buy an upgrade for any battlesuit that will give them selectable skyfire.

In the new Fall of Cadia book, there is a Relic that allows the bearer and its unit to gain the Skyfire special rule.

As for Chaos, there isn't really anything. Best we can do without dedicated Skyfire weapons is shoot Twin-linked stuff at the sky.

Just to clarify, there is a Relic in the new Adeptus Mechanicus stuff that allows the bearer and their unit to pick from some USRs and Cognis(Snap shoot at BS2 rather than 1). The only requirement is for you to have Cawl in your army and it gets placed on a model that can normally take a Relic.

See above. There's a bit of a kerfluffle right now concerning Cawl, as it's not limited to just Imperial armies. You just have to take Cawl.

I think I follow.

Fall of Cadia has a way to get a relic that lets you choose from some USR's and snap shot at BS2. One of those USRs you may choose from is Skyfire.

Additionally, there is a line of thought that taking Cawl, in any army, lets any relic capable character take the item?

Fortress of Redemption Twin-linked Icarus Lascannon bunker annex -- regardless of the unit firing it (or leaving it on auto), it has skyfire.

Thanks. I was mostly trying to get Skyfire onto something like a unit of Heavy Weapons, my Blood Slaughterers, or Laser Batteries.

I'm really paranoid about FMC spam. I might just ally in Traktor Cannons.
