Plan to finally build that box of SW termies I had for a while and was looking for a great loadout for 4 terminators as I plan on using my fifth model for a lone wolf. They will be storming out of the stormwolf.

I will also be using the great wolf detachment.

Honestly I'd suggest Thunderhammer and Storm Shields, purely because they die like flies due to how much AP2 there is now adays.

Honestly I wouldn't bother with the Stormwolf either, more for the fact that you have to wait till turn 3 at the earliest to get into close combat. I'd more just Deep strike them in all equipped with Combi Plas and Storm shields.

I would agree that TH/SS are likely the best value... However, keeping in the wolf spirit, I like to make each individual WGT a different load out than the rest.

Admittedly the pack leader will be TH/SS for challenges, but the rest will get other profiles.

For challenges I usually will go WC/SS purely for initiative.

yes I was thinking WC/SS on the leader for the challenge....and I guess I'll make a combi plasma squad and deep strike it.

1x Combi plasma/power axe
1x Combi plasma/power sword

what do you guys think? how about frost weapons? the sword is tempting...

also, any idea how to equipe my terminator lone wolf ?

and what should I do wth my stormwolf ? bring some wulfen?

I didn't realize that Space Wolf Terminators got Combi-Stuff. That steps on the toes of what Chaos had over Loyalists haha!

First if you're going with a Frost sword, just take the Wolf Claw. Same points but you get shred, though will lose a bonus attack cause specialist weapon. Frost axes aren't that great purely cause the Thunderhammer isn't that much more, if you're shy on points go for it, if not take the hammer.

As for the Lone Wolf, I've had good luck with just slapping him with a Wolf Claw and SS and running him at MC/GMC's he's almost guarenteed to die, but most people don't want the guy anywhere near their big guy.

For the Stormwolf... Just use it as a pre DftS flyer and use it as a Tankhunter and use the cannon to potshot units with POTMS.

I also prefer to arm each one differently. I mostly use:
Leader WC/SS, TH/SS, combi/power weapon, combi/ss, AC/CF

I prefer putting them in a Drop Pod for greater DS accuracy. If I would use an assault vehicle I would probably get melee weapons instead of combis.

Now I really don't know what to do with my unbuild Stormwolf/fang

I like the fluffy idea of making a stormwolf for the wulfen that feels like it has spent years in the void and is heavily weathered with lots of chaos trophies...but I understand it might not be the best idea to put a 200+ pts unit in it

Stormwolf is a dedicated transport for Wulfen, so that can be fun. It is also a powerful flyer on its own. I bring them to lists for areal support pretty often, they are solid gun boats.

If you want some fun, look at the Arjac's shieldbrothers formation. Its solid, but expensive, as you need a landraider as well.
