Hi everyone!!!

I'm David, a collaborator of Manorhouse Workshop (https://manorhouseworkshop.com/) ! :

This is not my main work, I am helping Lorenzo (the owner) out of sheer passion for all this amazing world of miniatures and settings for dioramas.
In my free time I play AD&D with friends since more than 20 years.

I met Lorenzo more than 10 years ago, and I started being his client, commissioning him some good number of unique dioramas (most of them are present on the section "Unique Works" on his blog).
I have them home now, for some I created some unique pieces of furniture (table, some with glass panels) to admire them whenever I can.

Time passed, we became friends, talking about projects and ideas, and just last year this evolved into me supporting all his projects and ideas the best I could.

Lorenzo always talked highly of Dakka Dakka and the people there, so it was time I got registered here too.

David

Welcome! Check it out and if you have time please post some of those dioramas, the more eye candy the better!

Sure, the first one I got was this a 120x60cm diorama, Lorenzo calls it the "Destroyed City" but I call it the "Ruined Castle" (semantics! ):

Then we we moved on something bigger (160x80cm), the Abbey with Cemetery (this time I have nothing to say on his choice of names ):

It ended up way bigger because, under the Abbey, Lorenzo did this:

which is an underground stairs which connects to the next diorama, the "Underground Pool with Crypt" (again, I prefer "the Dungeon), still 160x80cm:

Here is a close up of the stairs that could be seen upwards:

Lorenzo does really some awesome work. It's just a shame that now, since I'm collaborating with him, I can't say it anymore without sometimes people thinking I'm just saying it because we work together.
But I think it heavily. Myself, I couldn't hold a brush or sculpt anything. Sometimes I wish I could do what he does for a living...

Thanks for the warm welcomes!

You'll see more of those in the future, because I'm planning some videos about it once I get some more furniture painted.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.
