Hello everyone! I am looking for some list criticism on the following, as well as some advice on how to take it down in points if necessary. It's currently 2985 points because reasons.
Matrix of Ruin Ordo Reductor War Covenant

Magos Reductor 230

Figure out how to help me spend 15 more points, as well as what would be golden for reducing it in 500 point chunks down to 2000 in case I need to play a 2000 point game; it'd be nice to have prebuilt lists for 2000, 2500, and 3000.

Give the Macrocarid the Auxiliary Drive and a HK Missile.
(Took me ages to find out what the Aux drive does; turns out it's on a 4+ at the start of the movement phase, repair an Immoblised result)
Reducing it in 500 point chunks
A bugger to do without fudging the flooze...
2500:
Ditch the Volkite Myrmies, and Macrocarid.
(-630)
Get another Techpriest Auxillia unit, w/ 6 Servo armed Automata, +1 Adept, Enginseers.
And turn the existing Auxillia unti into Enginseers, instead of Lacryaemarta.
(+125)
Give the Triaros 2 HK Missiles.
(+10)
= -495
2000:
Downscaling everything:
Reduce Volkite Myrmies to a 3-man Unit, (- 65)
Reduce Rad Myrmies to a 3-man Unit, (- 80)
Sod the Macrocarid, (- 355)
Screw the Secutors, (-385)
Turn the Auxilia unit into [Techpriest Auxillia unit, w/ 6 Servo armed Automata, +1 Adept, Enginseers.], (- 105)
Give the Magos Reductor a Photon Gauntlet (+ 5)
I got the jist of what the list does as a whole; tried to preserve some of the core operations.
I take it the Magi and Auxillia will be chilling at the back with the artillery?

Mechanicum red book, page 80. Master of the Covenant: The compulsory HQ choice of any form of detachment using an Ordo Reductor War Covenant must be chosen from either a Magos Reductor, Archmagos Reductor or the special character Calleb Decima.
And...
Mechanicum red book, page 14. Rule of the Archmagos: Only a single archmagos of any type can be included in a mechanicum detachment of any kind (including 'named' archmagos such as draykavac), and where present in a primary detachment they must be the army's warlord.

Right - there is a Magos Reductor [compulsory] and an Archmagos Prime [singular, non-compulsory].
As for the advice from Buddingsquaw: I was actually planning on using the Artillery to move forwards and cram the table with scary tanks, hence the dozer blades. My fire support units were the Volkite Myrmidons and the billion Heavy Bolters. I figured the heavy bolter unit was immobile enough that getting B2B for repairs would be difficult, so I went with the FNP on the squad from the Lacyraemarta. The Cyber-Ocularis hangs out with the squad to give it inteceptor and BS4 on the Heavy Bolters through the Myrmidax's Djinn Skein.

Sorry, should have added this extra bit to clarify - the Magos Reductor's leadership is 9 and the Archmagos Prime Myrmidax is leadership 10 - it makes a subtle difference.. Mechanicum Red Book, page 17. Warlord: In a Battles in the Age of Darkness game, each army must have a warlord selected from it's primary detachment. Unless specified by a unit special rule or force organisation chart rule to the contrary, this must be chosen from among the army's character models with the highest leadership values by the owning player. edit: the only mechanicum character which can be selected over an Archmagos (of any type) is Magos Calleb Decima - he has leadership 10.

Yeah the Myrmidax is my Warlord. Why is that relevant?
