Everyone has to be a special snowflake, I mean they're assassin's, why not?

I was thinking about making them out of Scions but I'm not sure what bits come in the box and am open to any and all ideas!

(inspired by a post to create an assassin based army to run at my local ITC, probably with inqusition or deathwatch)

What assassin do you want to build? Alternatively, you can look up bits sites, if they sell the Scion box, they should have every bits offered individually, it should give you a good idea of what's in the box.

Good boxes to convert: Dark Eldar Wytches and Eldar Dire Avengers. Scions are way too bulky for the slim assassins.

I've made an Inquisitorial Agent from many bashed bits to represent my Vindicare. It's probably my most unique and detailed model ever and I always run him, when deciding to field a master sniper.

Bash 'em, is what I'm saying. Endless fun and you won't regret it.

Use a grot for a Callidus Assassin. It's fluff supported.

How about mechanicus themed assassins? Here's my admech eversor, flagrantly copied from someone else on the internet!

I want to make two of each (want to have the option to run two of the formation, just for fun)

I was thinking Scions to keep them as "human" as possible, just to keep theme, but those mechanicus conversions are really good.

Question for those who suggest eldar models, what heads?

Scions are great models but I think they're too bulky for assassins; they've got big heavy carapace armor, not the kind of synthskin stuff you'd want for assassins. Dark Eldar, Eldar, and maybe scion gasmask heads if you really wanted to, or IG command squad heads with the little included rebreathers.
