So I am working on my necrons slowly, Im wanting to replace the green with purple, however the range of purple colors seems to be a bit...limited. Any advice for game color or gw purples and order for replacing the green? The green is kinda a boring color for me and since ill be collecting this instead of playing id rather it be just purple. I figure the rest of the colors should be the regular necron colors instead.
Also I was given a ton of decals, but no where in the instructions does it show where to put them at? And 2 giant sheets? A bit much maybe But i can use them for other models not specificly gw.

Have you had a look through the codex for pictures? And/or maybe the gallery here maybe? I dunno if there are any, just mentioning as a possibility.
Reaper has some good purples out there - I really like 9022, 9023, and 9024 (Nightshade purple, Imperial purple, and amethyst purple) as well as a couple others, also available in triads (base, mid tone, high light).
Plus, purple and green (as an accent colour) look really keen together!
Vallejo also has some good purples I think, I don't happen to have any of theirs atm offhand tho =/

Mmm I did get a ton of those purples from them as well as game color and reaper, theres even a clear purple I might want to try on top of the gold for the necron symbols. I personally dont like green and am replacing those green parts with said purple. Thank you though so far for all of the advice. I still have these 2 giant decal sheets but i have no idea where these decals go, they are a but too big for anything on the minis, even the stalker. I guess for displays i would put them on?

If you are looking to to do the glowy parts you'll best off wet blending anyway so you don't need a crazy amount of purples.
For VGA I suggest:
7215 Hexed Lichen (very dark purple, almost black)
72776 Alien Purple
72713 Squid Pink
They all have great coverage but I guess all purples cover well.

A little more work, but you can also opt to replace the rods on the gauss rifles with the ones from the Ghost Ark.

The ghost ark has rods too? Did not know that, I will take a look at that when i get it.
I do currently have purple rods coming to me at this time to replace the green ones so i cant wait for that.

No rods, but the barrels on the Gauss Flayer Array can be used for a conversion that looks like THIS.
