Hi people ! I just wanted to know how many squads of bikers you took per formation, how many bikers you took per squad and how you geared them for your lists.

I only own 2 3-man squads, but I don't think I would run more even if I could. To me, the main thing from the formation is the dogs. As for the bikes' loadout, I go 2x Meltagun, Combimelta on champion, and melta bombs.

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

5 dudes, all Plasma on one with a Combi-Plasma and Melta Bomb, and two others with the same numbers, but Melta on everything.

The Bikers truly aren't a tax and we shouldn't be seeing them as such.

Definitely 2-3 min squads with melta guns and melta bombs, you take them for the hounds mainly but outflankimg melta guns is super nice to have.

Remember to never have more than 3 in a squad as this is kdk and you want as much msu as possible for the blood tithe.

It's not that they are a tax, it's that kdk like msu so keep them small and effective by outflanking some min squad melta guns that die after popping their target to give you double blood tithe points while taking out key targets. Putting 5 dudes in a squad is much harder to let die both in wounds and point investment, remember double suicides work in your favor thanks to the blood God

Where are they getting outflank from? I'd put more special weapons on mine if I could reliably outflank them.

They get scout if I'm correct within the formation which also means they get outflank

No, bikers don't get Scout from gorepack, you probably confused it with move through cover which they do get.

I ran 3-4 suads w/o gear or with meltas. They're good for grabbingobjectives, generating btp and summoning thirsters that are otherwise not easy to summon cause non-daemon characters tend to either be too important or too dead by that point.

The formation just gives them Move Through Cover and Preferred Enemy (Psykers). Flesh Hounds have Scout even outside the formation. If the bikes got to Outflank, the formation would be pretty insane! As it is, they are good for tank popping (if they can get close enough) and getting BT points when they inevitably die. Oh, and if the champion survives a couple of turns (and you can generate enough tithe), you can turn him into a Bloodthirster with a 5/6 success rate (Leadership 9 is not too shabby).

This. I do give them meltas and melta bombs, but no combi meltas. The champ is there to summon or melta bomb. I only have two squads atm, but I'll be getting another soon. I love the gorepack.
