I am currrently trying to build a competitve eldar list that doesn't include a wraithknight. Wraithknight's are pretty common in my meta, and so people are starting to bring hard counters. This in turn, means theyre no where near as effective. So I wanted to build a competitve list that didn't include one, and that did include mostly models I own.

Here it is:

Eldar CAD:

HQ - Farseer, bike

Troops - 3x Scatter bikes
Troops - 3x Scatter bikes
Troops - 4x Cannon bikes
Troops - 3x Stock bikes
Troops - 3x Stock bikes

Fast attack - Hemlock Wraithfighter

Heavy Support - Night spinner, holo fields
Heavy Support - Night spinner, holo fields

Eldar Formation - Crimson Death
Crimson Hunter Exarch, Lances
Crimson Hunter, Lances
Crimson Hunter, Lances

Eldar Formation - Seer Council
Farseer, Bike, Spear, Spirit Stone
Farseer, Bike, Spear
Warlock, Bike
Warlock, Bike
Warlock, Bike
Warlock, Bike
Warlock, Bike

Its 1847, I know people are going to bang on about reserves manipulation, but I have never found it a problem. So, that asde, what do people think of this list?

Like it a lot. Looks like you covered all the bases. Who's your Warlord and what table are you going to take and why? Still new to this edition and trying to get the hang of traits.

Besides fitting in for points, is there a good reason to not have all your bikes ScatLas?

Yeah, a couple of reasons really. Firstly, I'm trying to be a little different. So I thought I would give the cannons a go. And secondly, I tend to end up just turbo boosting after tubes 2-3 anyway for objectives. So now I have some units dedicated to that.

As for traits, god knows. Depends on mission. But I tend to go for strategic or the objective based tree in the rule book. They seem to give me he best ones.

Worth skipping a 30 point spend, I suppose.
