Thanks! Glad I could help push someone else towards playing this really fun little force. The fact that they can just be rolled into an existing Guard army really helps too, and they're a natural fit for Kill Team as well.

Nice video. I thought it was a joke army but after watching your video something clicked and it doesn't matter if it's good or not as long as you have the passion.
Something I keep forgetting about the game. Thank you for sharing and making me remember why I started the game in the first place.
Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.
Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

That's about the kindest thing anyone really could have said about my videos, I'm glad they could stir those feelings in you

I've gotten a lot of people asking me how I do my winter bases on my Valhallans and other armies over the years, so I've put together this basing tutorial!

Nice tutorial. I do a more deep snow base myself, which is basically your snow paste, just smeared all over the base. I also found getting a white coat down under the snow helps a lot.
Thanks! I'm curious how the new Valhallan Blizzard technical paint would fare in place of my PVA/flock/water mixture, but I'm not about to change up my basing scheme some ~10000 points across 3 armies later.

No idea, but for an army that size, I can’t imagine it would be economical to do. I bought a lifetime supply of Woodlands Scenics (A giant 57 in^3 shaker) for $12. I did over half of my Ultras with it, plus some random other minis, and it hardly looks like it’s been opened. PVA costs peanuts. Judging from the volume of flock paste I use, I shudder that the thought of how many tiny GW pots that would be.
For those who aren't already listening, I made a brief video announcing The 40k Badcast, the Warhammer comedy podcast I do with my buddy Dan. Expect Adepticon coverage next week!
