I have bought more than 20 books in epub format from black library, including the 7th ed 40k rulebook, and not had a problem. I use Moon+ reader on android and Calibre on windows.

The Kill Team epub that I got a couple of days ago is unusable. On Moon+ the text is so large that a single sentence wont fit on the screen. It can be shrunk a little but not enough.

On calibre the text is very small. when I try to make it larger each letter stays in the same place, but they they get bigger. When they reach a reasonable size 3 letters all overlap.

Does anyone have any tips for apps that this ebook will work on? Perhaps there is a way of reformatting it?

If it's a tablet version try mono, it's the only one I've found that will show them correctly.

GW use a weird epub format, that's for sure.

I tried reading a couple of their books on my kindle, my kobo reader, my computer and my tablet (android). Each had their own issues with the files.

So my solution was to stop doing it - it made me happier.

I know this doesn't help, but sometimes there isn't any fixing of the stupid that is how GW does things.

According to GW support the epubs they make are done in Kobo so I would use that for a mobile device, or Readium for chrome if using a PC.

Kobo works on my Android. It works a lot better than Nook, and it was Kill Team that made me switch.

They changed over to EPUB3, so yeah the older files work in whatever but new books are in this new format. iBooks finally is able to read them without issue, but the old go-to is Readium on Chrome if you're not Apple.

I had problems in Chrome with the bigger ePub files. Apps is the way, but size is not as much an issue these days.

Stupid auto correct on my phone, should have been kobo.

I also found it works in Google Play Books.

Just another reason I refuse to get ebooks. If I can't hold the print in my hand, flip through the pages, bookmark them with sticky notes, etc, then the rules don't exist for me.
