I'm thinking about picking up Dark Angels, never played them, I want an army that isn't super spammy/cheesey but can still hold its own against a Decurion or an Eldar force with scatbikes and a single Wraithknight, this is where I'm at, any feedback is appreciated.

Just my thoughts on it. I'd swap the tac/dev squads drop pods out for razorback/rhino. Drop the dev squads down to 2 grav and have them blasting from a rhino.

I'm assuming you have jump packs on the Assault squad? I'd put them in a drop pod. I always seem to have more success with them in pods than with packs.

I love the RWSS but I like to load them out with assault cannons. Intercept and overwatch with those can be pretty mean and they have a lot more shots flying at them.

For the Ravenwing, i'd take the RWSF and drop the scouts. They get a lot of cool rules with it. Turn one turbo boost, jinking and full bs next turn is awesome.

And if you haven't painted them yet, make up your own chapter and color scheme so you can play them as any Chapter Tactics on any day.

Thank you guys for the feedback, I'm considering running a Lion's blade with the RWSF, I don't think I want to do dual Demi-Companies because I would rather have a more bike focused army but that list seems really great. As far as painting I'm considering a sort of Deathwing Scheme for everything but a darker beige color with red accents. Also is Sammael worth his points? As of now the list is looking something like this

don't do a Lion's Blade then, just do a Ravenwing Strike Force and Combined Arms Detachment. One demi-company isn't really better than a CAD because it's so restrictive.

Sammael is not bad but not great either. Like Azrael, he's best in a "deathstar" with other Imperials to provide Hit and Run and AP2. Librarians are prolly the most competitive HQ but Sammael is fun and an awesome model so bring him if that's more important.
