Sounds like a silly question. May be one. I imagine it would be incredibly hard for the chaos gods to establish a sufficient connection to an individual with a complete lack of resonation in the warp but who knows?
As for the second question, how strong is a blanks nullifying aura, for instance could they negate the powers of even the emperor or Magnus? In "Thousand Sons" an incredibly powerful telekine- Phosis'Tkar loses his powers vs the sisters of silence suggesting even top level pyskers are vulnerable

I would think individuals who were blanks might see the appeal of chaos if they found out about it, but they couldn't be corrupted/warped in the traditional sense. It would be a personal choice, sort of like real religion.

As to the second question, the aura seems dependent on the individual blank. If the psyker were stronger, the aura would be smaller, though I'm not sure any psyker, no matter how powerful, could directly affect a blank. Blanket immunity.

Some books have it that you are at equal if not higher risk from a blank regardless of how strong your psyker-rating is.

In Atlas Infernal, for example, Inquisitor Czevak uses two 'blank' artefacts: an embryo with an omega-minus rating, and the titular Atlas Infernal, a book made with the skin of the Sisters of Silence.

The former straight-up ruined a powerful Daemonhost, a powerful rogue psyker and a whole squad of Grey Knights just from being opened up in the same room. The latter killed Vespasi-Hann, a ridiculously powerful Shadowseer who whupped Ahriman in a straight fight, in moments.

A hypothetical, say a blank is fighting a powerful telekine, sufficiently powerful that his powers aren't dulled to the point of uselessness by the null field. He can't directly affect the blank with his psychic powers, but can he propel an object say a boulder at the blank and indirectly use his psychic ability to kill it? I can't remember but I think in the scenario I alluded to in my original post Ahriman of Phosis kills one of the sisters of silence by launching his combat knife at her psychically

I think I read somewhere that weaker psykers suffer more drastically than stronger ones, undisciplined pyskers may even be killed by the mere prescience of a blank

If one telekinetically throws a boulder at a psyker, the null ability would have no effect, the power was directed at a boulder, not the blank. It is indirectly affecting the blank.

Would it not make more sense for stronger Psykers to be more affected then weaker ones?
If the connection to the warp is stronger, than the more dramatic the removal of said connection will be.

Imagine Psychic levels like the levels of a tall building. The higher up you are, the great the fall will be if the building disappears beneath you.

Is the telekinetic ability not affecting the boulders flight though? Without the psychic stimulus it would simply fall to the ground, assuming that the psyker launched the missile then withdrew his connection to it that would work, if he didn't and followed its path directly then it would be negated surely?

That would make sense. But I assume the idea they are going with is weaker Pyskers don't necessarily wield more power so much as they wield it in a more uncontrolled fashion, therefore when that link it severed the recoil is greater

I personally think that all Psykers are effected the same but the more powerful Psykers are the ones who are the most bothered by the nullnes unless you are tigger and just hack into the null field. In the pandorax space marine battle book dragio was extremely hurt by a null field from a friendly cullexes and several lexicanums although hurt did not care for they could just act as if they were are normal human

Yep, "Spear" the Black Pariah. Somehow, Erebus got a daemon to bond with him.

Gods? There are no gods. Merely existences, obstacles to overcome.

I've always seen psykers and blanks sort of like acids and alkalines. You can have different strengths, PH, concentration, etc, but they won't necessarily always neutralise eachother.
Say you have a big bottle of oven cleaner, that's a huge squad of Sisters of Silence, and a drop of lemon juice, a very week acid, and a small amount at that, put the drop in, and you'll still have a strong alkaline.

Edit: For clarity, the lemon juice is a weak psyker.

The idea is it would retain momentum. Like you're telekinetically throwing it rather than holding it.

I love this forum. Whenever I see a thread and read the OP and come up with a response it has almost always already been suggested, usually better than I could have put it

I could definitely see blanks working for chaos indirectly, subverted by agents of chaos rather than the warp itself. An unscrupulous blank would be an appealing asset to chaos forces who could offer wealth, power, influence etc.

I like the idea that a rock hurled telekinetically (real word?) would squash a blank

In the BL book Pandorax by C.Z. Dunn Abbadon uses blanks. If I recall correctly. Four different kinds, an alien, a human, an ape thing and...something else. Again, I think. They were strong enough to stop a grey knight
Spoiler:
a really powerful grey knight hinted at being Zahariel, Fallen Dark Angel.

If I remember right.

Yes, they have blanks.

In Pandorax, Abbadon uses Blanks to suppress the warp abilities of a captured grey knight (I can't recall his name)
