Hello,
I've tried to make universal skitarii list. Here's what I've come up with:
Skitarii:

Isn't default squad size 5 (4 Ruststalkers + 1 Princeps and 4 Rangers + 1 Alpha)?
Do you really need all this plasma? You could run much cheaper arc rifles if you want high strength shots.
Decide whether you want your techpriest dominus to run into close combat or stay back with eradication ray - running both Autocaduceus and Eradication is somewhat strange in my opinion.

Yeah, actually i have played the skitarii only once before so i might be not familiar with their tactics. This list is based on fact that almost every list i saw was running vanguard with plasma. And it synergizes good with doctrina, altough it's expensive as hell.
It is i wasn't counting the princeps/alpha as theyre obligatory.
To the arc rifles theyre good for vehicles, but they have only ap5 as far as i remember. One of the bigger advantages of plasmas apart from s7 is that neat ap2 which lets you open everything. Lets point out that only onagers and destroyers get same level of penetration and at similarly high cost.
Imo it makes perfect sense for him to get both of those as autocaduceus lets him and his squad survive getting closer(maybe in the melee) while manifesting devastating firepower on the way with both volkite and ray (as he can shoot both of them due to harness). Tell me what you think! I can make a new list and well discuss on that

Don't get me wrong - plasma is a great tool, but if I were you I would put them in a full unit with 3 calivers. I would also get rid of Ruststalkers and get a unit of Infiltrators - much better rules, decent equipment. I also noticed lack of any Onagers. 2 of them without any upgrdes is only 180 points for 5+ 12 AV lump of awesomeness. What weapons you have on breachers? Arc or Torsion?

Yeah, you're right. That list is actually quite outdated. Last time i fielded knight, 9onagers(6xneutron) and 2 squads of rangers with arcs, but i dont want to do that again (btw my friend who played 30k world eaters legion got rekt. He played a bit dumb, but he literally could do nothing). Let me show you my new one. Here's the list: Skitarii 815pts - Primary Skitarii Rangers Rangers (x4), Alpha Skitarii Rangers Rangers (x4), Alpha Skitarii Vanguard Vanguard (x9), 3xPlasma, Alpha w/conversion field&power sword - Warlord Skitarii Vanguard Vanguard (x9), 3xPlasma, Alpha Skitarii Vanguard Vanguard (x9), 3xPlasma, Alpha Sydonian Dragoons Sydonian Dragoon (x2) Cult 685 pt - Secondary Tech-Priest w/Eradication ray (in unit with dragoons or kataphron) Kataphron Breachers Kataphron Breacher (x4), Heavy arc Kataphron Breachers Kataphron Breacher (x4), Heavy arc Kataphron Destroyers Kataphron Destroyer (x3), Plasma Some concerns with this list: Should I swap dragoons for infiltrators? I think i might have too much AT which is mostly haywire. If I see any superheavy i have to rely on plasma anyway so swapping one squad of breachers for onagers maybe? Oh and btw i dont acknowledge formations thats why i dont include them. Imo their power level is incosistent and therefore can lead to some lists that are just stupidly overpowered, which makes the game less fun, competitve and diverse (again, only my opinion).

I like it, might try it myself  That is a lot of plasma. Most people would swap destroyers for heavy grav - I heard they are great for everything.
I perosnally would get Dragoons over Infiltrators if you are considering it, but I don't know if they are any better - just my personal preference.
Onagers are good at base cost, great in pairs and outright deadly with Neutron Lasers. If you drop 2 squads of Rangers and get breachers to standard 3 man squads you will be exactly at 230 point - 2 Onagers with Neutron Lasers cost exactly that.

Ok, let's compare four average breachers w/ heavy arc rifles to four average destroyers with grav cannons to keep the numbers round.
Four breachers get 8 shots and 4 hits, yielding an average of 3 and 1/3 glancing hits (and maybe a pen?).
Four destroyers get 24 shots and 12 hits, yielding an average of 2 grav results of 6 which means 3 hull points AND Immobilized. Even if they only remove one HP, most Immobilized vehicles can no longer effectively fight.
Now, shoot both of those units at the stuff you should actually fear: Riptides, Wraithknights, Space Marines, jetbikes, anything with an armor save 4+ or better. Grav is popular for a reason.

In large admech forces i always take one unit of arc breachers, they almost always make thier points back, they make super heavies cry and they draw a lot of fire that would go into grav at which point that 3+ Armour save really helps.

Good point @axisofentropy. Maybe you also know why they have two profiles on their salvo weapons while they're basically relentless? Is there anything that may make them fire less?
@kataklysmic things with haywire would make superheavies cry? That doesn't make sense. I agree with the 'Distraction Carnifex' part though.
