Thinking of going ahead slowly building my DKOK assault list. Had some great advice here already. I also got 5 Points still floating in the air. I am not a competitive player at all, but the Malcador Infernus has been good in lower point games so far. I'm more about cool models and I like all of the below. What do you think?

The Grenadiers in the Chimeras and Malcador Infernus toast anything Infantry and take objects, give close support if needed.

The Hydras deal with flyers and stay behind.

The Vanquishers take on high AV targets.

Looks like a fun list anyway. I'm not sure on the hydras, last I checked they seemed pretty underwhelming

Assault Grenadiers are the DKOK version of stormtroopers: BS 4 and 4+ Save.

Storm Chimera is a Chimera with Auto Cannon turret and extra armor @ 75 points.

Chem Inferno Gun is a titan weapon on a tank chassis: 18" Hellstorm teardrop template, S3, AP2, poisoned (2+).

Looks like a really fun list to play and play against!

I like the flame tank LoW!

When I play krieg I tend to use more platoons but the grenadier option is one I'm interested in trying.. any idea on your record with the army?

So far all I field is the Malcador plus 2 grenadiers squads in Storm Chimeras. And I had only 2 games so far in which I tabled a troop heavy Tau and a BA player. But all on noob level. I have no idea how competitive this list really is.

Grenadiers feel expensive to me and I also lose the forlorn hope rule since that only applies to infantry squads. I just like the models a lot more plus it is way faster to paint up hehe.

For the army list, I consider dropping the upgrades from the Hydras and put extra armor plus camo nets on the Vanquishers...
