Subject: [200] - Necron - Kill team, Taskforce kopesh

So have some Kill team tomorrow, and wanted to see what you guys think of my list. I know the necron standard is three tomb blades and 10 warriors, but after crunching some numbers, 8 immortals seems like a better use of points, the kill team is tougher overall and equipped with a much better weapons. The only sacrifice was the nebuloscope on one of the tomb blades, but giving the unit furious charge (so a S5 hammer of wrath) pretty much makes up for it. I also wrote some fluff for the specialist and the squad leader, since I noticed a lot of kill teams have that, and it was a fun exercise. Anyway thanks in advance for the feedback.

Background
Ahmes: Ahmes woke up from the long sleep not quite right, however such was the need for troops at the time that he was not recycled. During his first battle after reawakening, Ahmes showed his defect by just slamming his bike at full speed into his opponents with no regard to the damage he would take in the collision. During the battle Ahmes sustained heavy damage, and the higest kill count from among the tomb blades. He was about to be decomissioned when Keti requested he be transfered to task force kopesh. Since then Ahmes has become something of a mascot for the unit, and in the process broken his Nebuloscope and lost right hand, neither of which seem to slow him down.
Nebet: Nebet is the quietest member of the squad, speaking only infrequently, and has shown a talent for creeping up on enemies and catching them unaware. The rumors in the squad are that before the transference he was an elite member of one of the deathmark guilds, but was exiled from his order for some crime committed against a fellow. Whatever his past, his skills brought him to the attention Ketti, who recruited him to taskforce Kopesh. If Nebet enjoys the prestige and freedom of being in the strike force he has not shown it, and carries out his work with the silent competence of a trained assassin.
Sebkey: During the battle of Lavos V, a crpytek had become stranded behind the enemy lines, Sebkey and his unit were assigned to retrieve Him. What followed was some of the fiercest fighting of the Lavos V campaign, and in the end only sebkey and the crpytek returned, with the badly damaged crpytek strapped to the back of the Immortal warrior. After effecting repairs, the grateful crpytek enhanced the immortals' eyes, giving him superior distance sight and targeting. Possibly as a side-effect of the long sleep he is prone to profanity laced rants at inappropriate times, still his enhancements and never say die attitude made him valuable to Ketti who recruited him for Taskforce Kopesh.
Ketti: A favored servant of the Lord in Copper, Ketti has fought in many campaigns since awakening more than a terran century ago. Ketti is notable among the immortals because even the transferance could not dull his tactical acumen or independence. In many ways he behaves more like a Necron noble than an immortal, but the lord in copper would have it no other way. Instead of having Ketti put down, he put him in charge of a taskforce where his talents could be used to their fullest potential. Ketti gladly takes the most dangerous tasks the lord in copper assigns because of the greater independence such a role allows him to have. He bears a Copper mantel as a sign of his lords favor, and has been marked for death by Administratum for his role in several raids, including one where he killed a Space Marine sergeant in single combat.

Just a Minor update, played in a four way with this, and it went fairly well. My opponents were a genestealer cult of about 20 models, Harlequins, and nurgle marines. After my last narrow scrape with space ICP I was a bit more cautious about them, and as a result they never made it into CC, dieing in a hail of gauss fire before they could get within 12". The real fight happened between myself and the Cult, I used my bikes to kill his leader and his special weapons, and he only got one bike and an immortal for his troubles. The most amusing part was the nurgle marines outflanked right between me and the genestealers, and much merriment was had by both. In the end I was the one holding the objective with a handful of points from leader kills and first blood.
Lessons taken away, S5 AP 4 on everything was a real problem for the others to deal with (even T6 nurgle bikers took notice), and allowed me to control anywhere I could shoot. Also by staying grouped I was able to blast anything that got close to me. I'm a little nervous about facing a real CC army, or the current king of the hill SM Scouts, but I feel pretty confident anyway.

Me too. Super gross list. Maybe put Tesla on 1-2 of them, especially your leader so as not to be tempted to get any closer. Eagle-eye would be pretty nice for a Gauss Tomb Blade.
I like the idea of Immortals in KT, but when you compare them to Blades, it is just no contest. 4 TBs cost the same as 5 Immortals, and having +1T, jetbike movement, twin-linked guns and ignores cover is waaaaaay more valuable than having 1 more model.
9 TBs > 5 TBs & 5 Immortals > 11 Immortals

Absolutely agree!
The other list we have been seeing a lot of is 7 de jet bikes with caltrops. They just turbo boost over your army turn 1 and you take like 7 d3-6 hits haha silly!!

I hope you haven't seen that list lately. The current DE codex (that is over 1 year old by now) changed Caltrops & Bladevanes to Hammer of Wraith attacks rather than "mini-vector strikes", so they have to get into CC to use them. Against 9 Tomb Blades, those Reavers will not last til turn 2.
