Kobold Press Bestiary: A Collection Of Fantasy Miniatures is Effin Cool Miniatures latest Kickstarter.

It is for a licence to produce a range of 28mm white metal miniatures based on the character classes and creatures from Kobold Presses "Midgard" campaign setting, as well as their "the Tome of Beasts" books.

Its a 30 day campaign and is off to great start, nearly 40% funded as i write this only a couple of hrs after launching.

Theres is 20 miniatures on offer once funded and they have many of the sculpts in hand, they also have more miniatures planned as stretch goals.

The art looks great, sadly the sculpts don't strike me as great, so I'd probably wait to see the actual sculpts for the ones I'd be interested in

They are funded and have unlocked the first stretch goal "Far Darrig", they are now working their way towards "The Queen of Night and Magic".

Their are VERY few manufacturers who do "new-bolds" for kobold minis. Just the old style dog faced ones. Will he pledging for this reason alone.

The Thursir Giant was another sculpt that we had made that does not match up with the art for Tome of Beasts, but how could we ever leave such a great sculpt on the shelf?? In celebration of a Black Friday Special that you don't even need to leave the house for we have decided to put the Thursir Giant up as a "Non-Stretch Goal" add-on.
