If you follow the link and zoom in they clear up. It's like a weird reverse pixelation.

Was able to take a look, I like the color, however I feel its not dynamic enough, in terms of shadows and highlights

I can add more shading easy enough with another wash. Does it also need edge highlighting? I was wanting to avoid it so the overall finish is smoother.

Is there anything else I have got wrong aside from image quality? (I am well aware my 'camera' is utterly useless).

I would suggest highlighting the edges, it gives the miniature an overall crispness. More shading is good to a certain extent, since everything miniature painting related is built on contrast. But again, its my personal opinion and flavor. I would consider trying a glaze of Waywatcher green to give it a more "hydra" appearance https://www.games-workshop.com/en-US/Glaze-Waywatcher-Green
