The last thread here on this topic was from last year and I didn't want to Necro it... but it suggested using Isopropyl, which I have tried (2+ days soaking) and it really did nothing.
Any suggestions, other than Isopropyl, for stripping Resin?
Thanks!

You can do Super Clean (Purple Power). It's worked for me, but I can't use it with the ultrasonic cleaner --- the ultrasonic heats up after several cycles and softens the resin.
But for dipping it and leaving it in? Should be fine.

I would also try 2-3 days in a tub of Simple Green... I would imagine it's available in the Boston area.

I use Dettol. But you can't let it sit in there for too long. I suggest one hour. Then scrub the paint off with a tootbrush.
Plastic can simmer in Dettol forever, resin becomes soft and rubbery if it is in there for too long.

I use aceton. No jokes. Just brief dip to acetone and then rinse under warm water. Works wonders for bust and FW minis I painted, but dont know what it will do with GW minis.

Thanks for the suggestions folks... an update for now: I couldn't find Purple Power at my Target, but I got some Simple Green.
4 days in the goo (Simple Green) so far and this primer will still not budge Ugh!

There's actually a reason why I own an optional heat/no heat ultrasonic cleaner.
It shouldn't be getting that hot without a heated setting.

Simple Green changed formula a while back and doesn't work as well any more. Try an auto parts store for Purple Power or Castrol Super Clean.

LA's Totally Awesome cleaner (yellow color) available from the dollar store. I've had phenomenal results with metal, plastic, and resin. Try it, its only a buck!
