Want to get a nice warm glow on those RJ Enhancements for Wild West Exodus? Or maybe you have another model waiting in the wings who could benefit from this quick guide?
Watch as Lewis adds some much needed 'glow' to his miniature, and maybe pick up a tip or 4 while you're at it.
Enjoy!

This is not Kickstarter stock as we did not receive any stock from the Kickstarter. This is a reworked model of the Ice Maiden and the first time it is being released.

i recall seeing those big robos on the deck that are absent now.
you guys picked up all the old stock too right? got any plans for the ones you are not redoing? (or better question will you be modifying everything like the ice maiden?)

IIRC some people did get their product meaning production was already on their way for at least some of the stuff. chances are any of the big backers custom guys are dead in the water.
also it seems there are some google images of ice maiden so there may have been a hand full of them done.

Following on from our live Q&A earlier this month, we have highlighted below some of the key questions and expanded on some of the answers with greater detail. Enjoy!
IS THAT A FREAKING SPERM WHALE WITH A LASER ON ITS HEAD?
WANT!*
Overall really liking things and it seems that you're actually pushing yet more detail onto already detailed models; will really love to see these coming out.
The Whale also gives me a lot of hope for Uncharted Seas as well as if you're able to craft up more organic (ergo less tanky/blocky) models then that gives me great thoughts to seeing warships, sea monsters, dragons and such!
*I recall Spartan teasing us for years that there was going to be a Dr Moreau/Darwin faction with basically cybermonsters and such or similar.

Subject: Re:Warcradle Studios - News - Updated December 23rd 2017 - Blog Post: Dystopian Wars Q&A (pg12)
I like the separation of naval and ground combat. Way more interested in ground, but getting into Dystopian Wars always seemed like it wanted to push me towards the water. No!
Plus having actual infantry this time around will be fun.
The only way to better whales with frickin' laser beams on their heads would be to have FLYING whales with frickin' laser beams on their heads!
I'm afraid it would be a kind of boring model to have them just sitting at the waterline with their faces popping out.
Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

I will not discount the awesomeness of flying spermwhales with laserbeams on their heads
BUT
Sperm Whales are famous for breaching, now there's a vision. Not just a head popping up with the whale breaching and twisting in the air in a massive display of power. Sure its got a laser on its head; but it can also leap up and crush smaller ships. Also if it were charging forward a large amount of its fore and upper body could be above the waterline.
I really hope that they don't go for the idea of having submersed units "flying" on flight stands - to my eye that would look totally wrong (esp in a game with regular flying units).
In March we'll be joining over 80 exhibitors at AdeptiCon 2018. With us, we'll be bringing the weird west battles of the Wild West Exodus world, our dynamic demo team (we don't go anywhere without them!), and some sneaky event exclusives - including some very welcome Dystopian Wars previews!
AdeptiCon will be staging various tournaments, event games, and hobby seminars for you to get involved with, covering all aspects of miniature wargaming as a hobby, and more.
Registration is open now, so if you're interested in battling it out against mad scientists (Union vs Enlightened, anyone?) make sure to get registered!

Thanks for the continued painting tips/guides!
One thought - any chance of getting the paint types used to include suggestions for most top brands (GW, P3 and the one starting with V that I can never remember the name of). Granted the actual method would be shown only in one brand, but having a list of alternative similar paints from other brands would be neat for beginners and those who use only one brand.

Also is the Warcralde/spartan website down?
Army painter paints would be great in my mind, not the best brand, but they provided me a cross reference sheet between their brands and then the Dakkadakka page with cross reference colors filled in the other manufacturers.

Hi Overread, both the Warcradle and Spartan websites should be working. ~Tarnya
My thanks It seems the spartan site did go down/lag terribly over the weekend (based on what I've read on the warcradle forums); of course this hit me since I used to get to the warcradle forums (former spartan forums) via the spartan site - so when one went down I also lost access to the other (and made an assumption that the two were linked).
Your miniatures looking a little bit too neat and tidy? They are supposed to have been through the wars, after all, yet they look a little too pristine…
Watch Lewis’ Worn Fabric tutorial to add some much-needed wear to those clothes!
Enjoy!
