At my desk

I currently run a very aggressive Blood Angels army focused around Deep Striking and very shortly afterward killing everything. However I've recently found myself taking losses on the table because I have no units with ObSec (Curses be to the Baal Strikeforce and Angel's Blade Detachment!). The only reason it has worked up until now is because recently more MSU armies have appeared, making straight up killing everything in the assault very difficult if not impossible depending on the list.

So I'm looking for a fairly cheap set of units to secure objectives for me. I've been thinking about a few options for the given reasons:
Imperial Guard: Big Infantry Platoons offer lots of bodies. Chimera are also great.
DKoK Siege Regiment: Better morale than IG, but less mobile.
Skitarii: Tough and look like they can do some pretty great support.

I did play around with ideas for Inquisition and Space Marines but found them a touch lacking with how I was trying to build them. But that's just my thinking and you guys may very well know the best thing since sliced bread. Aside from keeping it to being an Imperial faction I don't really have any restrictions or biases, and as always any thoughts and suggestions are greatly appreciated. Cheers.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

Land Speeder storms are a really good obsec unit being mobile with flexible deployment options. Or taking obsec 3man bike squads is another alternative.

For inquisition running 3man henchman units can work well, 2 acolytes and a psyker (18 points) put them in a chimera with psy ammo upgrade. It should cost roughly 78 points and gives you a decent amount of str6 + autohitting psychic shrieks with the new faq. However they are not obsec.

Another good non obsec option would be the Ravenwing Strike Force. A libby on bike + 5 multi melta attack bikes is a good primer. They come with scout so can help support alpha strike when going first and when going second you can outflank the whole detachment (they arrive automatically turn 2)

There's also just a plain BA CAD with Tacticals in Fast Rhinos/ Razors taken in addition to your regular detachment.

If you want to stay with BA this is the way to go. You could also do Scouts instead.
