I want to play chaos demons and mortals, but I can't choose a god help.

If Doomrider was still in the game then the choice would be obvious but alas we live in an unenlightened age so the choice is not so easy

But more to the point its probably best to understand what your looking for in a Chaos army. The best army is always the one your most interested in as you will get far more joy out of collecting, modeling, painting, and fielding an army you care about over an army that might be good on paper but you don't like the models as much.

I play chaos for the reason can channel my hate towards marines. (There is a personal score) but lately i wanted more random and proxyplayed demons of Tzeentch wrecked some DE and got obsessed with the randomness and physics rocking of the race, but I didn't like Tzeentch a lot plus I wanted my demons be able hth fighters. Plus I enjoy noise marines and plague marines.

My very first game was a kill team 10 cultists and a hellbrute on my side and a 5 man tac and a ravenwing squad on his side. We did not know the proper rules. First turn he drives/runs up bolters my guys and explodes the hellbrute. I swear revenge. His marine charges a cultist. I hit, wound and he doesn't pass the armour save The first time I kill a marine. The joy is endless and I want to do it again. I take the hellbrute kill a marine from a multimelta and multi-charge the other 2 bikers. Slaughtering them I have felt the joy of marine killing and can't let go.

Fluffwise I've always like Nurgle. He actually cares for his followers. There's a reason he's referred to as Grandfather by them.

Yes, that is true, but Slaanesh also does to a certain extent. The real reason I wanted to go with Nurgle is the fluff behind plague bearers which IMO is awesome. I wanted to go with Slaanesh to annoy the hell out of everyone/thing and have the fastest infantry in the game.The cult troops and renegade and heretic factions of both are very interesting, but mainly I'm looking at demons and then wanting to align the mortals to the demons.

I'm not really a chaos person so excuse my ignorance on the matter but why not just use both? Its my understanding that your not forced to play a mono god army and it isn't massive fluff heresy as Nurgle and Slaanesh aren't arch enemies. Start off as a mixed army and as the collection grows they can branch off to be their own armies.

I would love to try both, I was considering demons mainly for fluffy summoning, with my demagogue or sorcerer.

If you pick Nurgle, theme them as 100% good guys. They might be kind of gross and all but that's just how you get when you're in the business of toughing out the worst the universe can throw at you. Caring, supportive, kind and fully devoted to fighting injustice.

If you pick Slaanesh, have them be funny, artistic thrill seekers who paint goofy things on their armour and vehicles to mock their enemies. A bit like orks who don't take themselves seriously and have art skills above a fifth grader.
