So i was talking to my friend that runs chaos. my question to him was could i attach a noise marines sound cannon to a ork loota. If i could, i would tell anyone i play that a ork mek boy bet a painboy that he couldnt install the weapon onto a loota, also lootas like deffguns because of the sound so it would make sense. The reason my friend gave me is because the orks can loot everything that doesnt have a soul, so killing the noise marine detaching the cords and installing them into a ork loota doesnt seem out of the realm of posibility. so is it possible to put a noise marine sound cannon on a ork loota?
p,s I wanted to put the guns onto the model

As far as I know, your argument is entirely valid. Orks do what they want.

Stick the sonic weapons on your Lootas.

3000pts Blood Angels (4th Company) - 2000pts Skitarii (Voss Prime) - 2500pts Imperial Knights (Unnamed House) - 1000pts Imperial Guard (Household Retainers)

2000pts Free Peoples (Edlynd Fusiliers) - 2000pts Kharadron Overlords (Barak Zilfin) - 500pts Ironweld Arsenal (Edlynd Ironwork Federation) - 1000pts Duardin (Grongrok Powderheads)

Wargaming's no fun when you have a plan!

Orks can loot anything. Even things that don't exist, things that may exist, things that cannot exist, things with souls, and things without souls.

Peregrine - If you like the army buy it, and don't worry about what one random person on the internet thinks.

Ork logic lets you do something unless deliberately told you cannot.

So.. Go nuts.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.

Would an ork loot a sound cannon, take it apart, change some bits around to 'improve' or fix it, put it back together, then shoot it with great enthusiasm? Of course, perfectly fluffy - they do the same for any other weapons they find or steal.

Rules-wise, so long as it counts-as a normal loota gun, I can't see anyone complaining.

If it has a trigger, makes a loud noise, and something harmful comes out the front end, it's all good to an ork! :thumbsup;

Ultimately, there are energy weapons in loota arsenals.

Sonic weapons are just energy weapons on a different slant.

So, I would imagine one could loot it and use it.

An ork can take a pipe and if he believes its a gun it will shoot.

I don't think their Psychic aura is that strong - it at least needs to have an ammunition feed and a trigger mechanism to function, but after that, no amount of rust or disrepair will stop it working... theoretically.
