New fluff -- Magnus disciplining the Space Puppies and then the High Lords batphoning someone.
Spoiler:

Talking with a few friends, we have a few theories on who/what the High Lords have phoned.

Could be the Custodes and/or the Sisters of Silence, they've long operated in secret/shadows and whilst some are needed to continue fighting the Daemons in their basement, they could be sent to fight Magnus and the 1ksons.

Personally I bet it's the Officio Assassinorum. You need the High Lords to sign off on their deployment (which they may have just done). They've long operated in the shadows and hasn't been deployed en masse like a small army before. So instead of sending one or two assassins, they're sending hundreds if not more. Outright War, compared to their previous mode of operation.

Any other ideas/theories? Post them below!

Runnin up on ya.

My money's on the Officio Assassinorum as well, especially considering the release of the "Agents of the Imperium" thing.

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

It's already known it's the Sisters of Silence.

As fas as I know there ain't no Officio Assasinorum temples in the Imperial Palace. And they are hardly that secret that they need the seal of 12 High Lords to be used.

Poor ignorant guardsmen, it be but one of many of the great miracles of the Emperor! The Emperor is magic, like Harry Potter, but more magic! A most real and true SPACE WIZARD! And for the last time... I'm not a space plumber.

Whether it is secret. Rare and powerful .

High level pariah/blank sisters of silence makes sense.

So does high level custodious.
But sisters sent last time they wanted to pimp slap Magnus..

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

Sisters of Silence - they look human - Custodes don't.

They have models that need to be added to 40k.

The other choices don't fit

I think the important thing here is the Space Wolves are gonna lose a lot of face when they realise they've been saved once again by their two bestest allies in the imperium; the Dark Angels and the Inquisition .

I guess this is the Sisters of Silence, BUT it would be 'cool' if there was a new special type of Assassins Adept developed and trained for killing Daemon Primarchs. Some kinda Grey Knight/Sister of Silence/Assassin/Mary Sue super combo.

I'm throwing my hat in the ring and saying they're mobilizing the Sisters of Silence as well. As the imperium's anti psyker trump card, having fought along the emperor himself, the custodes, and after the destabilization of the imperial webway project I could see them be stationed in the palace where they would be a additional layer of protection while the Soritas and Grey knights take up their former duties.

I'm excited to see how and or if GW expands on them for 40k or if they'll let FW do the heavy lifting and just slap 40k approved on it.

It's pretty obviously the Sisters of Silence.

Sisters of Silence or something we don't know about are the only real options here.

They sent Sly Marbo.

Seriously though, I agree the sisters are the likeliest choice. They better not make them just another unit for SM armies though.

It will be Sisters and Custodes, only reason they released few of their models.

"Faith is the soul of any army; be it vested in primitive religion or enlightened truth. It makes even the least soldier mighty, the craven is remade worthy and through its balm any hardship may be endured. Faith ennobles all of the worlds the soldier undertakes be they so base or vile, and imports to them the golden spark of transcendent purpose."

They sent Sly Marbo.

not even the high lords can tell Sly Marbo what to do, only his mentor Chuck Norris can do that

Obvious answer is of course the sisters of silence, but my runner up is the Illuminati and the sensei, because they mention killing a god, like the emperors body sitting on the golden throne, sacrifice it and the sensei to create the star child.

Alternative options, not requiring space nuns.

They have activated their ancient sleeper cells on mars, and released the dragon. Seems cool and all until you realize the damage it would do and how vulnerable it must be to Tzeeentch high lv sorcery.

They saw this coming thousands of years ago. The revenge of single minded villain isn't that hard to predict and all, and they activated just activated their fernis system nova self destruct protocols, taking out magnus all its tzeentch allies out together with anything that else in the system in an instant. The wulfs are commemorated as war heroes, some might even be allowed to be revered as local saints but the lords don't really mind losing those obnoxious rebellious horde of half mutants.
