This is list is something i've been tinkering with for a local tournament, the idea is to give the enemy no easy targets and focus on assaults with walkers and deep striking terminators.
Turn 1 - Drop Pod + Locator Beacon right into a key area of the table to allow the possibility of perfect assaults on Turn 2 from AOIF formation. Ranged chapter ancients to take out transports and key vehicle targets by shooting twice as needed. All other furiosos run up the table to force attention away from drop pod with beacon. This all should lead to target saturation and high potential for assaults by turn 2/3.

Personally I'd drop the intervention force, it's so expensive for what boils down to being terminators. Instead of that put everything in a pod and take a force org for either on sec or other non vehicle units, like a BSF, FTSF, or CAD

What kind of useful units can i get for 660 points in a force org?
The way i see it, all the opponent's anti infantry would just go at those units, thats why i figured termiantors were the best bet since they are supposed to be resilient vs small arms fire and all the dreadnoughts are already immune to it.
Giving my opponent a target that screams "hey shoot all your bolters here" seems like a detriment. I built the list to try and deny the opponent the opportunity.
At least that was my thought process what do you suggest as a replacement

Terminators aren't that resilient to bolters. 18 shots kills a terminator.

Well, its not a bad list. However, it is rather slow and has a low damage output.

Take a FTSF with either cassor or a scout unit, a priest and jump pack death star. Death company with a DC chaplain are amazing

The claim isn't that terminators are immune to bolters. They are resilient to small arms fire if it takes 18 bolters to kill 1 termie that is GOOD chance of survival. Where as power armour is more vulnerable to more things and I wouldn't be able to bring it in enough quantities for target saturation.
Suggest a reasonable alternative?

Point for point, they're more vulnerable to bolter fire. At 35 PPM, they lose about 1.94 points per bolter shot. Whereas a Tactical Marine is 14 PPM and takes 9 shots to kill, or about 1.56 points per bolter shot.

Played against Iron Hands Medusa Strike Force + Imperial Knight list and won a solid victory.
He had Chapter Master smashfucker with feel no pain, and librarius conclave casting veil of time, foreboding and warp metal on the command squad on bikes. This unit was nigh unkillable until the very end of the game.
One of my furiosos made a really long charge thanks to magna grapple and assaulted the imperial knight 1 on 1, the furioso dreadnought won the fight. WS 5 + 6 attacks on the charge put in a lot of work! Too bad blood talons dont work against vehicles, anyway the furioso blew the knight up in 1 round of combat.
The command squad tried to kill my fuiroso that arrived via drop pod but that AV13 is mighty indeed the chapter master S8 hammer did nothing round 1 and i managed to toss more fuirosos into the combat one after another however the unit had so much protection that it was a lost cause, but kept them in place all game while my other dreads took out absolutely everything else. I never even got to use well timed blow, never had a perfect moment to unleash it.
Terminators came in to kill some units and then after winning those combats they charged against the command squad putting more pressure on.
Finally on turn 5 i had 1 furioso with blood talon left no damage taken (this was the MVP that killed the impeiral knight solo), 1 frag cannon dread, 1 rifleman dreadnought, 1 librarian dreadnought and 2 full units of terminators. once the command squad got assaulted by everything but the rifleman ti was lights out. The fuirosos made mince meat of the librarians punched right through their invulnerable, feel no pain, and re-rolls.
Good game indeed. I'm still mad that i never got to actually try out well timed blow

I've had that issue not having that moment that the week timed blow work out perfectly. Thank you very much for giving a game sinopsis and how it went. Definitely sounds like an epic game. What was your warlord?
