Hello,
How do saves work against this weapon? For example, this weapon versus an Imperial Knight's Ion Shields.
Here's the rule for Haywire Burst: For each successful hit this weapon inflicts on a vehicle, roll for a single Haywire hit as well as resolving the attack from the weapon’s profile.
Lets say its nova charged, so Heavy3 + D3. Lets say It achieves 4 hits vs a rearward shield.
So, you roll for Str vs Armor (12 I think). Lets say that on Str 8 you get: Fail, Fail, Glance Penetrate. Then, apparently, you pick up the 4 dice again and also roll on the Haywire table and lets say you get Fail, Glance Glance, Glance. Now there are four glances and one penetrating hit. So the IK rolls saves accordingly.
Is this correct?

No. If you hit a vehicle model with a weapon with Haywire rule you do not roll for pen just roll on haywire table and apply results.
if you achieve any number of hits you roll those hits for Haywire effects , and group them in wound polls (Glancing and penetrating shoots) and then your opponent can still try to save them if any save is available like cover or invul, after that just apply the hits who pass.

The weapon specifically says you roll on the Haywire table AND roll for Pen normally. As such each shot can potentially cause 2 hits (glancing and/or penetrating).

If it was normal Haywire, Lord Perversor would be correct. Haywire Burst tells you to resolve both the shot at its profile AND a Haywire result. The Invuln/Cover save for a vehicle saves against glances/pens not hits (unless it was a Destroyer attack). So in your example the Knight would have to save 4 Glances and a Pen.
There's good reason for everyone who runs into a Y'vahra to despise them, they are amazing.

Well didn't knew that part of the rules for Y'Vahra seems a powerful suit vs vehicles then yep as the Op points he should resolve the hits normally, then the Haywire rolls, group them in wounds and apply any relevant save (should there be one)
