Hey guys, so long story short I'm picking up an Allied Detachment of Catachans to go fight with my Dark Angels. I wanted to have them be a fleet that fought on Caliban, but obviously with it being blown up, that's no longer the case. Are there any planets similar to Caliban I could use? I really dig the jungle/forest theme and the dark green color scheme.

Well catachan is the most obvious but to answer your question, yep, most likely tens of thousands of Forrest planets, if your asking if there are any well known regiments where jungle fighters are the main stay, Armageddon jungle fighters, ork hunters, few others

I think I'll go with Stalinvast and say that they were a Regiment that was trained to support Caliban but escaped before it was Exterminatus'ed due to the Genestealer infestation.

Well, also keep in mind, The Dark Angels themselves recruit from worlds similar to Caliban, that is, Forest Death Worlds.

Current Chapter Master Azrael was taken from a tribe of Head Hunters. And then theres the old Native American motif they were going with...

So simply, there are plenty of other Death worlds.

Halandri

There is the former garden-world of Chelsea. Famed in the past for it's exotic botanical displays, but over-run by invasive non-native species that were introduced rendering it largely uninhabitable by man.

A small number of 'Guarderners' maintain a presence on the planet due to it's strategic location and run Deathworld survival training weekends for passing troop shipments.

Wasn't Caliban destroyed as a result of the HH 10.000years ago? Meaning no single human is still alive from that time.
Just make a planet up, there's infinite death worlds to chose from. Hit up one of the DH books or 3ed rulebook if you need inspiration.

His pattern of returning alive after being declared dead occurred often enough during Cain's career that the Munitorum made a special ruling that Ciaphas Cain is to never be considered dead, despite evidence to the contrary.
