I had a lot of fun with EVE in the past but I dont have the time to invest in lengthy playsessions any more - if I did, I totally would

EVE has a pretty strict only-cash-goes-in policy but I'm looking to offload all my ISK to someone who will actually use it rather than letting it just sit in the system

if i knew someone IRL who played eve i'd just give it all to them, but i dont

I'm saving up for a Drake and a Noctis

I am working towards a carrier and at some point, 3 rorquals.I think i will get my carrier first so i can make ISK at a good rate again, there has been a camper in my system for a few weeks now and mining in procurers makes the reward vs effort not very appealing.

Mining sucks....

Mining only sucks in high sec or when you have to do it in a procurer. The onlining of our new Keepstar scared our camper away so i was able to pull my Hulks out and mine with some rorq boosts. I managed to pull in over 100m worth of ore in about 40 min.

No sign of the Isk but I have now bought a Drake (although I can't currently afford to fit it out )

The Drake i had was nice while it lasted, i have a replacement somewhere.

I bought a couple Cerbs for home defense fleets and they up and change doctrines. Oh well Hurricanes are still fun.

I think the carrier is going to happen this week, a bit more mining and PI and i should have about 4.5b to play with for ship purchase and fittings.

I have found a mission where the objective item sells for just over 8 mil, I get about 2-3 mil for bounties and salvage and it doesn't expire until saturday.

I should be able to farm a good chunk of isk out of it

When do mission rats respawn? After downtime?

I want to say it's quicker than that - but I can't give you an exact time - I want to say it's something based in a few hours.

Note: I haven't played in years, so there's a good chance I'm full of it.

I want to say, then, that they respawn after 24 hours. That feels/sounds right.

If anyone is ever interested in finding a quiet spot in Null space, my corp is always looking for more.

We have pretty much anything and everything to offer anyone wanting to get their feet wet in Null space.

Mining, ratting, PI, industry, PvP roams and some PvP deployments are a few things we have to offer.

I played in highsec for about 2 years before i moved to Null space and it has been loads more fun and excitement.

I enjoy the difficulty and risks that come with null space but it really is not as scary as i had previously thought.

Defense fleets or fleets to roll wormholes are good ways for me to get my feet wet in PvP. I also had a good bit of fun during WWB and the last C02 offensive. Although i will say entosis is not very fun but it is needed.

but if anyone is interested we have a strong EU presence and a good number of US tz players. We offer SRP, jump bridges around the region, ore, ice and PI buy back, discounts on capital ships and modules, Jita freighter services, TS3, Discord, Mumble and loads of other things i am forgetting.

Spent a year or so in Null sec before I quit the most recent time - was a blast when I could get on for fleet ops (I've worked gakky schedules almost my entire adult life), but otherwise I've always liked ratting/running protection for miners in a merc sort of roll.

Then again, signing up as a privateer has some seriously great benefits - providing your employer doesn't refuse to pay you, forcing you to ambush his entire mining team and watch them rage at you while you smoke them one at a time.

God I miss this game.

Made 150mil now thanks to the Christmas give away stuff (the 24 hour stat boost sold for 53 million ) and some lucky mission drops, who knew that exotic dancers would be so expensive...

If you happen to get a Caracal skin from the Yoiul lads you can make some sweet ISK.

Got my carrier all fitted out and went to go use it and didn't have the 400mil to insure it lol.

I made about 90 millions till now with that. I still make more with my usual stuff, but hey!

Fired my account back up and had forgotten what I'd owned...was pleasantly surprised to see some decent gear and ships when I logged back in.

Also, it's shocking how expensive plex has gotten...when I was playing like a madman it was around 360m a pop...now it's 1bn per, easy.

Still haven't decided if I'm going to spend some isk for a plex yet and upgrade to Omega (I admit, I miss my t2 ships and gear), might see about doing some security level 4s in a BC - see if I can hack it for a bit.

Its cheaper to sub, £9(ish) Vs £14.

The cheapest method is to let your account go alpha so you can get in on the upgrade to omega deals.

I assume this is null sec ratting? If I did every belt in high sec I'd probably get a fraction of what you made - also makes the mission running I'm doing seem pretty 'meh' in comparison. Although, having spent time in null doing the ratting thing I confess, I like running missions more - mainly because of the LP options.

Highsecratting is not efficient. LVL4 missions are a little. Carrierratting may be. I don´t know that for now. It takes a long time to get the optimal skills for a carrier and a nice, quiet place....

Yea i was using my carrier out in null space, still about 100+ days out for max carrier skills and then i can use T2 fighters. I think at some point I will get a super carrier for ratting.

I find i like carrier ratting more than mining right now but that is mostly because of the time it takes to set up for multiple miners.

I am still shooting to get a rorqual for each of my mining accounts, i am just not going to go to the level of crazy that some people in my corp are going with 5-10 rorqual pilots.

My corp put an ESS in system so now we gain LP and bonus ratting payouts. The LP comes in at a crazy rate, i think i have spent a total of 5 hours ratting in my carrier and i have roughly 80k Minmatar LP. (LP gained is dependent on which races ESS is installed in system.)
