Just getting back into the hobby after a 4 or 5 year hiatus.
I love the new wraithguard and knight models, so I'm thing about starting an Iyanden army.
It dose'nt want to to be overly competitive as I am to play against other fluffy lists.
I was thinking some i the lines of:
HQ. 230 pts.
Wraithseer.
- D-cannon.
Elites. 800 pts.
5 x 5 wraithguard.
Heavy support. 435 pts.
3 x Wraithlord.
- 3 Bightlance.
- 3 x Ghostglaive.
2 x Wraithknights. 500 pts.
2 x Ghostglaive and scattershield.
1965 pts.
Is it too "soft"?
All suggestions and help are welcome.

Cool on you! I'm doing the same thing.
For starters wraithguard are no longer troops, you can read http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/709914.page topic to find out some alternatives.
Secondly, Wraithknights are more expensive than what you listed here, and 1 is a beast, 2 might be a bit much.
Actually, looking at your point cost and wraithguard I think you have the old codex!! Best thing is to get the new one and think about how to run it.

The WG are listed under elites. That would make it an unbound list, correct?
I have this codex: http://wh40k.lexicanum.com/wiki/Codex:_Eldar_(6th_Edition)
Is there a newer version?

Yeah you need https://www.games-workshop.com/en-WW/Codex-Craftrworlds-ENG-IHP
Some big changes and unfortunately, no longer wraithguard as troops (they used to be if you took a spirit seer.). So yeah now your army would be unbound which, depending on your opponent might be frowned upon.
And 2 wraithknights..... heck even most tournaments restricted LoW to 1 a list, so you'd better of with taking just one if you like your friends

Both WL and WG seem as pretty weak choices, so I thought that two knights wouldent be a problem. But mabye you are right (just love the models).
And honestly, removing the option to take WG as troops (2nd time now), and messing with the pointcost of new models, is just incredibly frustrating - but that's the GW way I guess.

 Yes, hold me brother!
WG are not very strong until you fix their mobility issues. Here is some stuff I played around with:
Wraith-host
Spirit seer
2x cannon guard
1x scytheguard
3x wave serpent
Knight
Lord
about 1500 points, add seasoning to taste
Using Iyanden Codex; 1850
Shadow Council: 5 Spirit Seers
Wraithseer
2x6 Canon guard
1x 5 Scythe Guard
2x Wraithlord with lances/Starcannons
Hemlock
2x5Rangers (troops)
Using Eldar CAD/Seer Council (Competetive play)
Autarch
2x3 Scatbikes
5 cannon guard
5scythguard with serpent
Hemlock
Wraithknight
Seercouncil, 5 locks, 2 seer, jetbikes
Allied Dark Eldar
Archon, webway, armour of misery
Warriors
1850 again.
Perhaps most fluffy/fun/notOP but wraith-y, using Myamablablabla (Forgeworld book), you can change the core detachment
Wraithseer
3x Wraithblades
Wraithhost
Spirit Seer
3x wraithguard
Wraithlord
Wraithknight
Depending on trimmings ends up around 1850 as well, most fluffy/wraith list I could come up with, not too OP, and wraithblades are really poor. But it does fix your mobility and lets you play games.

I still think that unbound is the way to go. But mabye I should just wait until 8th edition lands. - so I don't get screwed over once again..
