Hi all,

When I look at tactical articles online, a lot of people seem to think BA assault marines can take free transports as long as they don't take jump packs. Is that right? I can't find it in the codex!

Look at the Assault Squad datasheet. It's the last option.

Apologies if I'm being really thick, but all it says is that they may take a rhino or a drop pod as a DT unless they have jump packs. It doesn't say anything about the rhino or drop pod being free... Does it?

The only difference I can see compared to other codex entries is that it doesn't provide page references for either transport.

It does say free, you're not being dumb, just blind

Angels Blade book they changed it around though. It's now standard cost for the jump pack or transport instead of free

I have the red thirst edition of the codex, perhaps that explains it.

So does it say jump packs cost for you in the Red Thirst book (digital book?)

They didn't change the attacks for dreads iirc in that book?
