Hi,
what do you think about these units ?
I may get one of them soon. I plan to use the Medusa in order to crack vehicles open, specially with bastion-breacher shells.
Moreover, I don't see any rule about how to choose the shells: if I paid the points, do I exchange the shells or do I get to choose every time I fire ?

The imperial bombard, on the the other hand, would be perfect for killing these pesky biker units, and infantry with cover save. Anyone has been using one here ?
Thanks !

Why Aye Ya Canny Dakkanaughts!

Both of them are pretty nice but, having to choose one, I would go with the Colossus: that ignores cover is too good against fast moving bike blobs and the Medusa's job of destroying tanks/fortifactions can be done by Leman Russ Vanquishers more efficiently.

Can you post the wording of the shell's rules? I know of both tanks but I am not familiar with their options.

This is what is written:

Options:
* Any Medusa may take:
- Bastion-breacher shells................+5 points per model.

I looked in the Imperial Armour but nothing more is said about it.

It says it "uses the following profile" not "may use the following profile". It replaces the standard shot, which is why it's so cheap.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

I am a big fan of Medusa's, great models, great firepower, and balanced by their fragile side armour. I use them with the Iron warriors ironfire RoW, so being guaranteed to hit whatever you aim at whilst hiding away does make them better.
