Yes. The armour belonged to Saint Katherine (the martyred lady that one order is named for)
I would have presumed it would look more like regular sororitas power armour though, since that's the design Vandire commissioned and Katherine would absolutely have been one of the first to receive it.
Celestine is a perpetual, I'm assuming? It explains why she keeps coming back...

That's a possible explanation, but I'm honestly not too knowledgeable about perpetuals and what they can bounce back from.
I know it says on the wiki somewhere that they can only be permanently killed by some artifact or something, but Celestine was killed by a nuke once and reappeared elsewhere with body and armour intact.

It looks like Sorortia Armour to me. Though as they were his Bodyguards at this point, I'm guessing he wanted them to have fancy Armour.
Is Celestine's Sword the one used to Behead Vandire?

It's more so the piping, the rest can be explained by lack of robes. It looks like the rebreather, if she has one, is integrated underneath the gorget.
As for the sword, it's also from St. Katherine' s crypt so I think the implication is it was her weapon. I would presume the sword that killed Vandire is in the care of the Ebon Chalice order, unless it's been lost to time or venerated somewhere in a cathedral or Trazyn's sitting room or something...

Can we please not bring the 40k version of midi-chlorians into the lore of sisters and celestine?
"Got you, Yugi! Your Rubric Marines can't fall back because I have declared the tertiary kaptaris ka'tah stance two, after the secondary dacatarai ka'tah last turn!"

Furthermore I will spend 8 Cabal Points to invoke Cabbalistic Focus, causing the rubrics to appear behind your custodes! The Vengeance for the Wronged and Sorcerous Fullisade stratagems along with the Malefic Maelstrom infernal pact evoked earlier in the command phase allows me to double their firepower, letting me wound on 2s and 3s!"
"you think it is you who has gotten me, yugi, but it is I who have gotten you! I declare the ever-vigilant stratagem to attack your rubrics with my custodes' ranged weapons, which with the new codex are now DAMAGE 2!!"
"...which leads you straight into my trap, Kaiba, you see I now declare the stratagem Implacable Automata, reducing all damage from your attacks by 1 and triggering my All is Dust special rule!"

Perpetuals are literally a thing that exist. Celestines ability brings her back to life upon death. People are literally discussing her ability in relation to other abilities by the same name, as used in lore.

The old model had a helmet on the base I wonder if this one will too?
I get where you are coming from. I don't think I'll be using the birds.

Isn't Vulcans ability more like he just appears. Where Celestine is more wreathed in light?
I don't remember any other perpetual individuals having a similar description..

I am going to very hard to pretend that the don't. They're probably the stupidest thing invented by BL and considering the amount of inanity BL has produced, that is an impressive achievement.
And on the topic, the models look gorgeous. I like that they're not super thin dainty things like most of the female models on the market. Also, it seems that GW has finally learned to sculpt female faces (though I still might use Statuesque heads, I think I want my SoB to be bald.)

I still think that is the painting fulgrim nonsense.

Well, you do realize that most medieval plate was only 1.5 to 3mm thick? Not cm, mm. So if it was made to completely fit the wearer's body over some sort of body glove mesh of bundles to carry this sci-fi hyper dense material then it would be pretty much skin tight. If you accept that 40k is fantasy in space then the plate armor would reflect how thick medieval plate is. The reasons its so thin is because of weight and being any bigger would restrict movement. Space Marines look so huge because that's all man; its not the armour.
I mean even the armour on an M1 Abrams tank is 4.7 inches or 120mm. People seem to conjure this mental image that 40k power armor is like walking tank armor, but even that is a lot smaller than people realize. This is because whats important is the material its made out of. Chobram armour is better than cast iron, but an M1 probably doesn't have thicker armor than a WW1 tank; despite being exponentially more resistant to damage. So it stands to reason that whatever they make 40k suits out of is better than medieval plate but the same proportions for avoiding impairing the wearers movements.
Also she is not fat!
Great point. Nicely said. Never thought about it like that for Space Marines.
That said, what is this topic about now? Are we really arguing about a mini is "too fat" This is even worse than my topic about boob armour a few weeks or months ago.
Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.
Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?

I'm not arguing that they don't exist, I'm saying they're the equivalent of Midi-Chlorians in that for whatever reason, fantasy settings have become allergic to the concept of something being unexplained.
Everything has to have an explanation, no matter how much it ruins the point, or kills the magic inherent in the setting. Everything - EVERYTHING, must be categorized and have some kind of explanation, no matter how pointless and unrealistic it is, just so it has some justification.
Sometimes, making things concrete makes them silly. Think about how cool the various myths and prophecies of the 40k setting were, how you could look into a fuzzy John Blanche sketch and make out these bizarre evocative concepts.
And then think about how starkly nonsensical it is looking at actual miniatures of nipple horn giant ponytail magnus battling looney tunes werewolves in perfectly tailored and customized power armor.

I think that the above is your opinion, and nothing more than that.
I also think you have a very salty opinion.
If you have a problem with the Wulfen's armor, then maybe you should try reading the 1st part of the campaign books. It's pretty well explained why the mini's have tailored and customized armor.
Or not, and continue to whine about something you aren't informed about. The choice is yours really.
This sounds mean, but I'm just trying to poke a hole in your comfort bubble. No malice intended.
Perhaps you should look at 'why' the trend of explaining away 'fantasy' in fantasy settings is becoming so rampant? That would do you more good than just simply hating on it blindly.

I like that they look a bit thicker. Also, it's open to interpretation either way. The armor may be thin and the Sisters swoll, or the Sisters could be slim-athletic and the armor thick.
And I mean, c'mon. It's not like Marine armor looks particularly realistic or proportionally correct. It's a model with blown out proportions so it looks cool, and is recognizable on the table from 2-3 feet away.
It's fine, everything is fine.

It's funny how no one has drawn a naked man over the top of a space marine miniature. Sexist? But we'd soon see how badly marines are sculpted and proportioned.

Probably Tuesday the 3rd Jan. In the current one it says the next one is on sale on the 6th Jan, usually it'd come on the Monday of that week here in the U.K. But that Monday is a bank holiday.

A few things with the Celestine model doesn't make much sense to me. First is she doesn't look any different from the other sisters. Knee wings could be a bit, cloak could be Sister Superior bits, wings, doves and extra long scrolls could be Celestine specific bits.
She is suppose to wear the armor of Saint Katherine yet it looks like basic artwork armor. Isn't the point of Special Characters that they are unique and look different.
I'm starting to think there might be some truth behind her being 3 upgrade bits from the Seraphim box.
The armour looks the same as the previous model. I like that she isn't overly blinged out. Feels more saintly and humble. Armour aside, she has massively different wings, birds, a halo, and is about twice as tall. And Seraphim would come in a box of 5, not 3.
